Well I liked Sun/Moon, but then USUM came along and.Hot Take: There was never a decent Pokemon story-line in literally anything in the franchise, except for the Black & White games. In spite of that however, there are enough world-building elements and charm throughout the franchise to still make it enjoyable.
I phrased it that way because I hadn't watched the video. Had only a little time to check the thread and they seemed to be arguing points of view rather than the content itself. I was worried it'd take over the thread like that conversation sometimes does.We don't need to debate it anymore. Long as the video doesn't break any rules in the ToS you're free to post it.
Silly Stain, I'm always right. It's why people keep giving me likes hahaCutie Gwen

But I should've taken the time to watch the video or wait for someone to report it before stepping in. 'Cause now I've got egg on my face.
Y'all are right.
This isn't that hot a take really.Hot Take: There was never a decent Pokemon story-line in literally anything in the franchise, except for the Black & White games. In spite of that however, there are enough world-building elements and charm throughout the franchise to still make it enjoyable.
PMD:EoS had the best story in any Pokemon related piece of media ever, ****ing FIGHT ME.This isn't that hot a take really.
Unless you Count the spin offs
Yeah that was my point.PMD:EoS had the best story in any Pokemon related piece of media ever, ****ing FIGHT ME.
If this means 2B in smash then Count me the **** in.One very important thing to note going into E3 this year is that the company taking Sony's timeframe this time around will be none other than Square Enix.
What do I expect going into their press conference/live event?
In general, I think it'll be a MUCH better conference than before. Last year's was pretty much "yeah, what those guys said!" and didn't provide much or any new information on any of their games. We already have one MASSIVE thing confirmed, so let's start with that.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
The Avengers Project
- Can't believe I'm actually saying this is happening... Good job, Nomura. You did a good for once. Since last trailer was a teaser, we're getting a FULL ON reveal in their conference. "More info to come in June".
- It's gonna be episodic, so hopefully they'll explain it in better context. From what I can gather and looking at what they're showing, if we're doing it like that, I believe Episode I will be only Midgar, from the start until after the end of the motorcycle chase. Arguably, that can make an entire episode, if they're remaking lots of stuff.
- We're getting the full reveals of Tifa and Sephiroth. Tifa was shown in the battle UI and we got a tease of what Sephiroth looks outside during that one cutscene, but this is something to note -- that cutscene with him and Cloud? We don't even know if it's during one of the Nibelheim flashbacks or Mt. Nibel Mako Reactor flashbacks. We could quite literally be seeing a legitimate remake before our hands.
- Reveals of remade music AND newly made music for the game. This is dependent on if it's a full remake, since the trailer BGM we've heard isn't a clear remix of an original song, so this might be the case.
- Since PlayStation and Square are confident this will also release on the PS4, I'm gonna bank on FFVII Remake Episode I being a Breath of the Wild deal and also being a PS5 launch title, and honestly? That's a seriously ****ing good launch title to start with.
Dragon Warrior Quest XI S-2 UHD: Allied Echoes of a Entropic Elusive Age/2 Days - Turbo-Definitive Edition α
- They've been talking about this for quite some time now, so with the timing of Avengers: Endgame and to compete with Nintendo and Marvel's deal with Ultimate Alliance 3, I think now couldn't be a better time to reveal it now.
- While I don't know the specifics of it, I'm gonna bank on this being released just for the PS4 and going into it maybe late 2019. I don't think they've revealed this at all, have they?
NieR: Automata Coming to Nintendo Switch
- If the rumor mill is to go anything by, I could very much see this getting Octopath Traveler's spot for the "Nintendo Exclusive" part of their show and go into more detail quickly of what the Switch will get in their version.
- Reveal of VAs, since that's one of the main selling points of the "re-release."
- Since this is a Fall release this year, I expect it to be around either very late September or October 2019, to give the onslaught of massive releases during this Summer some breathing room.
Kingdom Hearts III DLC
- Alright, hear me out on this one. Usually since the Switch launched, every year has had at the very least ONE port where people never thought it would be possible to release on the Switch. 2017 we had that with DOOM and Skyrim, 2018 with Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and I firmly believe with what Platinum has said about their current plans lately, we're gonna get NieR on a Nintendo console.
- They've recently made moves with releasing it on Xbox One, which is not too far off from what the Switch is capable of, and with them releasing a new trailer in celebration of 4 million copies sold across PS4/Xbone/Steam, I don't think they just wanna end it there. How can we get that to 5 million and beyond? Bingo. Besides, it's been quite a sizeable request.
- If Dragon Quest XI S ain't gonna be the/or only "Nintendo" reveal, this will no doubt surely be.
- If this is gonna happen, I'm banking on this releasing in November, around the same time as DOOM and Skyrim released on the Switch. In terms of file size? Since the original release IIRC was 50-51GB, I'm gonna guess 29.4GB when you really compress it.
- I don't really have a race on this one, but I think for people such as
DaybreakHorizon and
Professor Pumpkaboo it'd be some good news.
- Releasing this year, perhaps? I just hope this isn't a FFXV situation all over again where they just have a massive roadmap just to only complete their product.
Those are my main predictions going into E3 this year when it comes to Square, at the least. They've got a LOT to bring if they're replacing Sony timetable-wise, so I'm hoping for the best.
PFFT, no respect for the series it spun-off from, Drakengard...No respect for OG NieR smh.
Yall fake af.
Hey, takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I get your perspective: you didn't have all the context, and you acted on what you knew because you were crunched for time. Happens to the best of us.Cutie Gwen

Just assume it's worth respecting for a sec...
This is the only part I felt the need to respond to.They've recently made moves with releasing it on Xbox One, which is not too far off from what the Switch is capable of,
