Anyways saw that Mario Maker stuff. I’m still holding out for just a few more themes in addition the ones they’ve already shown. Know it’s greedy, but I really would like to see a volcano and space theme.

I've been thinking about it and I kinda want to to do a personal "top 50 powers in fiction" to post here, kinda like what Opossum is doing with FE characters(except in order ). I love brainstorming about ideas for fictional powers so I think doing something along these lines would be pretty cool and I might be able to introduce some other games or shows for people who like this sort of stuff.

I'm a personal fan of mimicry.

It's honestly the most basic braindead powerup to think of but the way it's so flexible and varied is really fun to read whenever it's introduced.

Well, that explains it - I haven't played much of Dark Souls. It's the same reason why I couldn't get into pre-SOTN Castlevania games or the NES Ninja Gaiden games - I don't find seemingly endless frustration fun.

You're gonna have to be way more specifoc because there's a lot that can be consodered "mimicry" though I'd guess you're talking about the shapeshifting version?

Bro you played DMC5 and I know for a fact that ****'s harder than anything in Dark Souls.

As long as you dodgeroll and R1, you can get past most things in that game.

Ah I see. I generally don't like Power Copying because it relies too much on other powers to look cool. If they can be combined though, it usually opens possibilities that wouldn't be possible normally. In cases like Chrollo though, those types of character can end up way too powerful and hard to balance, especially on stories where characters have limited power sets.
