Just got out of Detective Pikachu.

It was a fun movie, with plenty of references that...I got. My gf and friends didn’t get them as much, but that’s because i’ve played enough Pokémon to name almost every single one in the movie, and Pokémon is in like my Top 3 favorite series.

For a video game movie, I was satisfied by it. I won’t speak to the plot, but I will say that certain things are predictable. Worth seeing, but not perfect.
