I have no idea why GOTG2 is so underrated? The only problem I have with it is the humor at parts.

I wanna clap Smurfette’s little blue cheeks and suddenly it’s weird?
You got a good point.Y'all need to stop watching CinemaSins, RLM and the like. They're a poison when it comes to film discussion.
I was supposed to go see it back in January for my birthday, but those plans fell through and then I never really got another chance...Remedy that immediately
Shut up and lemme meme, MemeSinstbh adjusting for inflation can also be disingenuous at times
back then movies did NOT come out very often, so **** stayed in theaters for a long-*** time
plus gwtw had like 5 rereleases too
WowI for one love CinemaSins especially when they tear movies a new one like A Quiet Place.
Oh so you wanna **** Thanos and it’s okay, but I wanna clap Smurfette’s little blue cheeks and suddenly it’s weird?
Hipocrites...
Noipoi stop making me feel weird feelings thank youbut I wanna clap Smurfette’s little blue cheeks and suddenly it’s weird?
Compared to Thor: Ragnarok's though it makes Guardians 2 natural and tame in comparison. At least the latter lets emotional moments sink in.The only problem I have with it is the humor at parts.
you ever watched Johnny Test?Yeah, we should have the white CIA guy try to incite global war for the minorities.
It doesn't help that I hated A Quiet Place.Wow
What a pleasant person
How about we get a second opinion on this:I for one love CinemaSins especially when they tear movies a new one like A Quiet Place.
Trust me you won't.though I have my doubts that I'll be able to complete the social links in the time that I have left.
but quiet place didn't even have a twist villainI for one love CinemaSins especially when they tear movies a new one like A Quiet Place.
Currently mine are Guardians, Guardians 2 and Doctor Strange.-Endgame
-Infinity War
-Gaurdians 2
The best ones don’t @ me
Actually please @ me I need attention
Honestly I think you're afraid Ragnarok stole GotG's thunder which is why you hate it so much. We have Iron Man and Magic Iron Man in the same franchise, both can co-existCompared to Thor: Ragnarok's though it makes Guardians 2 natural and tame in comparison. At least the latter lets emotional moments sink in.
I believe it goes both ways, defending a movie to the death or dedicatng yourself to hating a movie.Actually I came from the other end. Trying to make excuses for a movie isn't healthy...
True, but it’s not The Missing Link.but quiet place didn't even have a twist villain
this does not compute
That's not... what speculation means.I am unfamiliar with the word "Mary Sue".
All I know what it is is that it means a perfect female character.
Why is there so much speculation about this? I am just curious. Can someone explain to me?
@ Noipoi-Endgame

In fairness, Everett Ross is a fairly important supporting character from what is considered to be one of the greatest Black Panther comic runs of all time. If he were made into a villain or excluded outright, I think it's feel off.black panther is the best mcu movie and spiderverse might be the best superhero movie i've ever seen, but both could still be better (black panther makes the black revolutionary the bad guy and the white cia dude the good guy because gotta get that military propaganda in your hollywood flicks, and although spiderverse is extremely well constructed+entertaining and has an amazing aesthetic and i hope people imitate it, it has a mostly standard action plot and not a ton going on thematically). if you think they're overrated then whether i agree with you depends on if you think they go too far or not far enough
No I hated Thor: Ragnarok because of its overuse excess of forced cringey humor. Guardians and Guardians 2 didn't have as much of that. Plus given the movie was about the end of a civilization makes it more out of place and nothing to joke about.Honestly I think you're afraid Ragnarok stole GotG's thunder which is why you hate it so much. We have Iron Man and Magic Iron Man in the same franchise, both can co-exist
I was expecting Shaun, but CinemaWins is also acceptable. How about we get a second opinion on this:

A Mary Sue is a character with zero flaws that’s poorly written, usually in fanfics.I am unfamiliar with the word "Mary Sue".
All I know what it is is that it means a perfect female character.
Why is there so much speculation about this? I am just curious. Can someone explain to me?
Oh.That's not... what speculation means.
please explain the logistics of thisI wanna clap Smurfette’s little blue cheeks
It's basically a buzzword to undermine female characters. Including "Rey is a mary sue!" Despite how she struggled in Force Awakens, clumsy scrapped the spaceship when flying and is flawed yet Luke who's super special doesn't get the same criticism despite being untrained in spaceship fighting and taking out the Death StarI am unfamiliar with the word "Mary Sue".
All I know what it is is that it means a perfect female character.

Essentially, a Mary Sue/Gary Sue is a hallmark of bad writing, hence why it's discussed (not speculated) so often when it appears.A Mary Sue is an idealized and seemingly perfect fictional character. Often, this character is recognized as an author insert or wish fulfillment.[1] They can usually perform better at tasks than should be possible given the amount of training or experience, and usually are able through some means to upstage the main protagonist of an established fictional setting, such as by saving the hero..."Marty Stu", "Gary Sue", or "Larry Stu" are alternative names given to this trope, when the same wish-fulfillment aspect is applied to male characters.[14][15]
the problem is exactly that: killmonger is written as the only representative of oppressed black people outside of wakanda's bubble, but he's also written as the guy who does most of the evil things. the events of the movie aren't immutable facts, the writers decided to portray things this wayYeah, we should have the white CIA guy try to incite global war for the minorities.
It was goodNo I hated Thor: Ragnarok because of its overuse excess of forced cringey humor. Guardians and Guardians 2 didn't have as much of that. Plus given the movie was about the end of a civilization makes it more out of place and nothing to joke about.
Usually, perfect characters aren't exactly the most interesting ones to read about or watch. That's why the term has a negative connotation!but I do not know what is wrong with a perfect female character
quoted twice just to prove my pointYeah, we should have the white CIA guy try to incite global war for the minorities.
Your opinion, not mine.It was good
Your move
Basically it refers to a character, not specifically female, that in the context of the narrative is overpowered and the universe basically bends to their will. Not literally but everything in the narrative revolves around and caters to their ideals, goals, etc. Often they can be self-inserts of the creator.I am unfamiliar with the word "Mary Sue".

on second thought please don'tplease explain the logistics of this
