When you spend soo much time in an echo chamber, everything seems more likely than it is.


The Smash community has a terrible, terrible habit or regurgitating the same ten or so characters over and over again, and anything outside of those are deemed 'not likely' by the fanbase at large.


Like, I still see people say, "Would Sakurai really go to Microsoft for Minecraft Steve of all things over Banjo?" or that "X character has no ties to Nintendo so they can't be in."



As much as I love Banjo for instance, I'm also not going to throw someone like Steve under the bus just because the community as a whole wants him more.

It also doesn't help that since the community sits in its bubble, it often ignores information or even spreads false information to put down other characters that don't fit into their perspective of what is 'likely'. The fact that Steve is still constantly said to be unpopular despite the amount of merchandise he sells and the requests the Minecraft team have stated they've gotten is a great example of that.

I'm also from Jersey, and when I traveled to Iowa to visit family there, they all said that I don't even have an accent. Though I started to pick up a little bit of a midwestern accent when leaving lol.

So, anyways, lets get into the leak, shall we? First off, I am unbiased to any leaks, so don't accuse me of being biased, okay comment section? Anyways, this leaker, named Annie Moose, posted a text leak on 4Chan, and it claims that Geno, Dark Geno, and Banjo are all in the game, in fact, it also has info on Joker, who is actually a Marth echo despite them having nothing in common. They also posted a jpeg of a picture taken from a DSi that has said characters. Anyway, as usual, I'm unbiased, but I think it's real because of the picture. Sakurai loves fan favorites, and who else but Dark Geno would he add. Plus, photo evidence, nevermind that I can't see anything. So anyways, GENO IS COMING BOYS! Take that with a grain of salt though, it may be fake, but I doubt it, it's probably real. But I'm taking it with a grain of salt, so should you.

Anyways, shoutouts to @totallyreliablesource on Twitter.com for telling me about this leak, follow him. So anyways, there's been another leak that has a full, never before seen model of Edrick from Dragon Quest, no one could debunk it. Yeah, it's fake. Sorry.

It drove me up the walls. A fun example was the time on a certain forum, I said one of my hopes was that every character could return in one Smash game. Everyone who commented said it was "unlikely." Now look where we are.

If I were a Smashtuber I would focus on the Community of Smash for example like how the Grinch leak was faked, why it happened and the backlash for it. I would also make Speculation videos about characters that could get into smash and what characters might not get into smash and just random stuff about Smash.

I think if I was a YouTuber I would just end up as a lower-quality Alpharad - messing around online and with friends, with a channel that’s mostly Smash but also other games as well. I also have a very similar humor style, which would only make the comparisons from people saying I’m “copying” him even worse.
