So for want of a nail, basically. I'm curious at what you would have adopted if you decided against using Yoshi. I mean, not like you don't post non-Yoshi topics, just genuinely intrigued at the alternatives.

I used to say this all the time, but Zelda is my favorite series and I can go on and on about so many aspects of those games. I will also occasionally talk about Shonen Jump and Star Wars...

There are some pretty bad gimmicks out there.

I once knew a dude on Reddit whose whole schtick was just that he had a ****in' RAGING fetish for tails. Anytime any picture of something with a tail was posted, you could count on that guy bein' in the comments, gettin' his rocks off.

Ehh, I can relate, but teenage behavior isn't necessarily immature by default. It can also be the laid-back kind, which is its own kind of problem when taken to the logical extreme.

I am very mellow, so much so that I am quiet and reserved at gatherings. Most "adult" behavior amounts to talking about family life, politics "what I did/saw the other day", sports, reality TV, and "dude, you won't believe what happened!".

Truth is, beyond the True-Neutral Anything-Goes nature of posts I've made on this forum so far, I do not consider myself an interesting person offline in the slightest. Far from.

I was bullied so much as a kid and had so few friends I kind of assumed everyone around me were jerks, even the kids who left me alone for the most part.

There's a couple of kids in particular are ended up treating badly when they were just trying to be friendly...I still feel really guilty about it to this day.

Having watched like three videos of Spore gameplay on YouTube I feel like this vastly underestimates the level of extra eyeballs and pointless doodads dangling off of the creature in question.
