I'm referring specifically to the story mode, but I won't go into details for spoilers' sake. I think he plays great, looks great, sounds great, but I was underwhelmed by his actions in the story.

All I know is that he has one of the best fatalities in the game, can instakill you in the tower mode and pissed off people because he wants to make outerrealm or some **** great again

I can't get over his ****ty little run he does into the sand portal D'Vorah opens. It's so amazingly unflattering towards him, he straight up looks like Darkseid in that 1960's superfriends cartoon. And that's not a compliment.

Deleted his account. Felt people were fed up with him and didn't want to travel down the road he was seeing. Tried convincing him to reconsider but it's something he'll have to deal with on his own. (He gave me his discord name so I can still talk to him.)

Never got that impression that people were fed up with him, dunno why he thought that. Doubt that the stuff I saw from the morning was the cause of that.

Essentially he made a very un-Shao-Kahn-like decision to just fall in line with Kronika the moment she came to him. Seeing him subservient to anyone, even a god of time or whatever, felt so wrong. I was waiting for some kind of "ha I was planning to overthrow you all along!" moment but it never really came.

Spoiler: And then...

Kitana just kills him straight up in a one-on-one battle and while it's a great character moment for her to become Kahnum of Outworld it almost feels undeserved and underwhelming for how big of a moment that should be. Shao Kahn seemed way less powerful in this game than he should be.

In conclusion, **** Kotal Kahn, Shao Kahn/Mileena Kahnum for life.
