I feel like plenty of people are expecting Steve though. Just that he's far more divisive than most others like Erdrick or something. I'll outright say I don't want Steve in the game, but Minecraft is still pretty huge so it ain't impossible.

Except again Microsoft is an exception given their relationship with Nintendo lately being buddy-buddy.

Because thay totally worked with Rayman, and Shovel Knight, and Shantae? By that logic, Crypt of the Necrodancer should be getting a rep, since Ninty lended the devs their property despite them seemingly being pretty closed up to giving away their ips to indies. Guess they're buddy-buddy with them too, so they should get an exception. Oh, and if that isn't a strong enough relationship, then I guess Shovel Knight should get his assist removed because heaven forbid Ninty works with an American company that isn't as "buddy buddy" with them on the levels of Microsoft. Mighy as well removed the Shantae and Rayman spirits as well.

I don’t want to spoil how I want the fight to go, but I’m basing the idea of what happened to Futaba, if I am understanding the story correctly.

The problem with giving a Shadow to someone like Joker is that he kind of wears his darkness on his sleeve. If anything his “hidden darkness” would be the sniveling coward he was before getting dunked in acid......

That gives me an idea! Oh but if I say it it will spoil what I’m writing!

The darkness doesn't have to be hidden. In fact, plenty of Persona 5 characters are just blatant ass-holes, hell most of them are. By darkness made manifest, it's more a metaphorical reflection of how they see themselves. In Joker's case, he probably sees himself as... himself, so there's probably not a big difference.

Mortal Kombat 11's launch trailer is the best trailer this year, hands down. I don't know if anyone can make a better trailer. I know Nintendo's got stuff like Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3, but I don't think that would even work.

The only thing I'd think that can reach these levels would, honest to God, put Master Chief in Smash Ultimate. They know that they can NAIL a Halo-like trailer-theme for his reveal and that alone can break the entire internet.

Bayo games are quite gory and toned down for Smash, doubt they wouldn't do the same for Scorpion after all he was toned down in Injustice.

Scorpion and MK is in hot water mostly for being one of the first to go up the wazoo with hyper violence, one of the examples that formed the ESRB. For today's standards, the original MK is baby's first violent video game.

Like if we really wanted to say which franchise would be banned because of it's violent, it may just be any Rockstar franchise lmao

Again. I hear A LOT more people bring this complaint up for Scorpion and Sub-Zero than I do for Doom Slayer. Most of the time Doom Slayer is seen as the go-to choice for a Shooting game character, while the MK ninjas are sangbagged more often, even by supporters of them like myself.

I apologize if it seems like I'm harping on ya. If you don't want an MK ninja that's fine, but I don't think the violence is stopping them at this point as both Scorp and SubZ can take from their Injustice counterparts and NOT draw blood when fighting.
