I'm trying to say I honestly don't understand why any Country would allow parents to not send their kids to school because they think they can teach themselves.

99% of the time they can't and 100% of the time it won't be as good as a proper school

I had a bout of depression right after I graduated so I've just been sitting around and now I'm doing online classes as a college level homeschool twit.

This has been gnawing on my concience for years so maybe you can explain this.

Because parents can do a better job teaching their children than the United States education system.

I was... technically home-schooled, moreso in the fact that my Mum taught me how to read before I went to school.

Which there has been a frankly depressing decline of.

I should know because my Mum was a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School for pretty much a decade, she's seen hundreds of kids who come into school not knowing how to read.

Honestly I think it all worked out in the end.

I don't know how much of me is nature and how much of me is nurture. Was I always meant to be a happy guy just trying to make people laugh, or would I be something completely different if my life wasn't the way it was?
