As far as I know, Joker will always have his running victory animation with the sole exception being if he wins with an all-out-attack in which case Joker's splash art will be the victory screen.

But that begs the question of how the hell will that work for Team Battles.

Hayabusa is probably the only 3rd Party regularly mentioned that would excite me (Erdrick maybe). NES, SNES, DS, 3DS, Wii U, Switch, his Nintendo presence is fairly strong (not that it matters that much anymore).

I'd love for a remix of this stage theme/end credits to play in a reveal trailer, especially considering most people don't make it far enough to hear it:

It’s definitely the most iconic theme of the series, I think most if not all of his soundtrack would probably come from the NES trilogy.

Notice this one doesn't have a filter effect applied to the background like the rest of them, except just a normal dark filter.

Perhaps this is for if Joker is player 4 and wins on a non-mementos stage.

It was probably due to a mixture of two things or one or the other.
1) Snake was included in Brawl, the ratings system in Japan may have gotten more lenient since that game's release (or DLC can be rated separately since its not part of the main game).
2) Joker's gun is an airsoft gun that just acts like a real gun in Palaces/Mementos.

However, they could also pull from his artworks or his Persona Awakening pose for other Victory Screens (who knows, maybe he'll have a 4th Victory Animation used just for Team Battles).

Yeah it makes sense why, still feel the fake gun thing is a bit flimsy excuse since it’s still firing bullets, but honestly doesn’t matter all that much, I’m just slightly miffed and jealous.

Either way I think being the main explosives guy gives Snake a cool niche in smash.

Still going with both characters at E3 will be total surprises and that Brave is NOT Erdrick.

Given most E3's had at least 2-3 characters I'm gonna agree, though we're now in the DLC era rather than pre-release so maaaaaybe that'll change.

With 4 we had the hero Mega Man, Villager and Wii Fit. Followed by Palutena and Pac-Man in the following year.
And Ultimate had Daisy and the main man Ridley.

Lotta eyes are gonna be on Erdrick. But I'm curious as to whether or not Hayabusa's one of the playable DLC given the rumors. He's the reason I'd even want Erdrick to be as likely as he is since it leads to someone I think could be cool. Then there's also Dixie Kong or a new Pokemon. But the DLC could mostly be 3rd party now since no one got cut.

Otherwise, give me any dream pick from Mega Man, DMC or Tekken.

That could explain about Jane being an alt for another character but I also remember the stuff about "menentoes" being linked with Jack. Or it could be that Jane is a different character from Jack? Either way, it ended being a coincidence regarding P5 The Royal.

Then again, Shantae and Risky Boots both made it in as spirits uncensored (fittingly enough also voiced by Cristina Vee) so who knows?

Though I still don’t think she’d be the Tales rep over Lloyd or Yuri.
