Eh, a year is...awhile, to expect every single stranger on the internet to not talk about spoilers. Like yeah, it’s the kind, considerate thing to do to not spoil stuff. But you can’t expect everybody on the internet to avoid spoiling everything for a game or movie for an entire year.

Although, it’s a social thread.

I mean, maybe 6 months. At some point, we can’t really play the victim anymore if it’s been six months or more. People have the right to be able to talk about certain things if there’s a reasonable amount of time between the time the game/movie came out and the present.

I’m not trying to be heartless, but I don’t think it’s legitimately reasonable to ask people to be quiet about something publicly for a year. 6 months is far more reasonable.

At some point, you have to realize that there’s consequences if you don’t see something right away. It sucks, but you’re frankly better off avoiding certain places for spoilers.

Granted, I don’t openly talk about spoilers usually at all. But after a certain point, it should be considered fair game.

2 months is a bit quick though.
I'm surprised so many people took that seriously. I was just jokin', I don't expect people to be mum about something for a whole year.

But like you said, at least give people more than a couple months.

Well, I guess Roberk is never playing Smash online again.
I'll come crawling back, but I barely play with y'all anyways so it doesn't make much of a difference. Online is just a frustrating experience compared to local play which I do often, so it's hard to enjoy arenas with more than a couple of people.

I say at least 1-2 months after home video release.

Which reminds me, I gotta go see Spiderverse since it's out on Blu-Ray

Unpopular opinion: Into the Spider-Verse was overrated. Overpraised and overhyped and how people saw that towards Black Panther I saw towards that movie. It was average at best IMO.

Among my nitpicks were not as much fighting as I thought there'd be and Peni, Ham and Noir not appearing until close to the third act. However I'm willing to give this series a chance and hopefully the sequel and spin-offs proves to be improvements.

I mean if i’m being completely honest, the reality is that people will spoil things. We can talk all we want about what’s reasonable, but another reality is simply that we can’t control what other people do, especially on the internet.

We can only control ourselves. But that is why we have to do our best to avoid spoilers. It sucks to say it, and I don’t mean to victim blame (especially when it isn’t expected in certain places, like here) but that’s just the reality of the internet.

Moral of the story: try to avoid spoilers by your own means as best you can, but know you can’t force people not to leak things.

(We should maybe request a title change once Endgame comes out so people know not to spoil...unless they want to be assholes.)

Honestly my problem with this is that spoiler tags exist for a reason, and also the attitude of Michael doesn't help sometimes with his constant repetition every day about the same topic and how he comes off sometimes. Plus lack of a direct and the wait for Joker is making people more annoyed than normal.

That's a perfectly valid opinion to have.

But I think Shishoe might kill you.

Defending my point on why Smash 4 online is better than Ultimate ( In terms of getting your friends to battle, not the For Glory / Quickbattle things. )

In Smash 4, invite your friend, set up a room, and boom. You can verse each other continuously. Free online, no waiting, no bad connection for me at least ( As I usually did 1v1 )

In Ultimate, there is an arena. In this arena, you have to wait. Eight players can come on. Online is not free. The arena lags like crazy with eight players. Eight players is a good thing for getting everyone to join, but that means that the arena is bound to get way more laggy matches. If you want to do a 1v1 with eight people, then you may have to wait forever. The worst part is choosing a character, a song and a stage WILL SEND YOU TO THE BACK OF THE LINE.

Come on Nintendo, this is supposed to be Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Ultimate Smash Bros game. This was supposed to be completely superior to the previous Smash games in every way. Fix your online, please.

Do you have anything positive to say about popular movies?
Love the Godzilla movies and huge fan of the series. Love the God of War games. Angry Beavers is my favorite childhood show. Guardians 1 & 2 are my favorite superhero films.

Just to name a few.

I will agree that those three characters were added to late to make us care about them, they made for some funny jokes but they didn't feel nearly as impactful as Peter, Miles, and Gwen. However, the animation was stunning and I hope to see more superhero movies using that comic book-like animation again as it was very cool.

I heavily disagree with that opinion, but it is your opinion I guess.

Oh uhh, if you spoil Endgame in this thread I will literally report you. No joke. I want at least one part of the internet as a safe space seeing as virtually almost every other social media site will be compromised with spoilers now. As long as I won't get an infraction for reporting someone for that reason, right mods?

Hmm, a terrible opinion.

You know people are going to get upset by this? This opinion is so terrible it made me wince.

See you later! I got to play Super Smash Bros Ultimate on my Nintendo Switch!

There's no such thing as terrible opinion. Just an opinion. Different opinions is what makes the world a much more unique place.

To be fair, he's allowed to dislike Spiderverse.
No, he is not. That is a crime and anyone who hates on Spiderverse will be sentenced to prison for the rest of their lives without chance of parole. >:]

As much as I would have loved more of those three, I don’t think they needed more screentime because the story wasn’t about them. They were there to show how much variation there could be among the spider-people and for some fun moments (I think? Gotta ask the filmmakers if I’m reading their intents right)

I genuinely have nothing but praise for the movie and mad respect for Sony for making that save after the emoji movie.
