I finally saw a picture of that top-heavy character design from Xenoblade 2 and it's the worst thing I've ever seen

I feel like Rob Liefeld looked at it and said it was "a bit much" then David Cronenberg looked at it and had the same reaction

So I recently remembered the Sans Stronger than You thing. I thought the animation was pretty good, so I checked out other stuff the person who made it did.

It's all Furry Porn. It doesn't even look all that much like the animation.

Oh are we doing first posts now? Here I come, rougher than the rest of 'em.

I grew up with an older brother who adored the series starting with the Gameboy Color games. (I personally started with 8.) From then, he's been a big fan and I'm rooting for DQ in Smash purely because of him. While he wants Slime more than Erdrick, I'm personally hoping for Erdrick. A protagonist would better represent what you would do in DQ than the Slime. I've only legitimately played Dragon Quest Monster Joker 2 and dabbled with DQ 8, so I plan on playing DQ 4 & 5's DS remake when I get time off. Looking forward to Dragon Quest representation in Smash. Here's to hoping.

Also I'm listening to the Symphonic Suites and this music is just incredible. Nothing much stands out individually but as a whole, they're experiences.

Honestly, I don't think I changed much.

I think there will be either a mini direct or a smash direct this month. I doubt Nintendo has so much to announce this year that they can do a full direct before E3. There was already a lot in the February direct.

Can we please, on both sides, stop being so condescending and frankly rude to each other? I can’t count the number of times throughout this thread that I’ve seen people blatantly mock each other over whatever view on the banner they have. Obviously there have been plenty of nice insightful comment, but this whole debate about the insiders and the banner and it’s legitimacy is ridiculous. There is absolutely zero reason to slyly throw insults at each other like this is a ****ing war, or to bring politics into this mess. It’s just a game. It feels like people are so entrenched into this whole team **** that it’s being taken far more seriously than it actually should. It’s telling when I’d argue 4chan has become a better place to discuss smash right now. Whether you’re team real or fake, I’d like to think we can all be respectful here. I think I was the only one who wanted Mr. Game & Watch to have eyes. (Almost) Every other game and watch did, so I didn’t really see a reason for him not to. It would also make him more expressive. Everyone kinda seemed to be against it, though.

Anyhow, I recall, if I am not mistaken, my first post to be my first topic. It was for Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS and asked about what music things each character would have. Kinda like the characters in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. But that wasn't my first post overall. During the Brawl days, I used to be under another username, which I forgot, but I was a lot dumber back then.

Here's my first two posts

New to Smashboards but Congrats to the DQ fans for getting representation in Smash I may not like it one bit but DQ does have quite a Legacy and influenced a lot about current RPG's and the Genre in General. Also R.I.P To the beautiful Doll Boy himself Geno, He would've been great but I guess it's just not our time to shine.

Not a lot changed except this was posted almost more than three months ago which is pretty hilarious and I've grown to be more accepting of DQ representation.

Looking through the past few Pages and yeah we need to make Operation Starfall a thing it's very apparent that we are on the edge of victory with Nintendo knowing we want him, Sakurai and Co knowing we want him even Square knowing we want him.


I agree with some of what you just said we DO need to make things change and spread out our support from Just Smash to Mario and Nintendo in general (this is probably just my interpretation) But to say we need to Stop supporting him for smash? That's not a good idea... Smash has been the backbone of the fanbase for a decade and if we just so happen to fail? We need somewhere to fall back upon.

And I have nothing to add to this it's just talk about Operation Starfall some of you may know what that is and some may not.

Click your name on the top right so the sub menu can pop down, click on the number of total likes you have so you can be taken to the list of users who liked your post, and then go to the very back of the list. Your first post will probably be liked so click on the earliest post that was liked.

What on Earth? I was just stating the facts...
I would be perfectly fine with Geno (in fact, I'm kinda supporting him)... but it feels like this leak only got big because it featured Geno...

Let's take a hated character like Bubsy and let's just say he's part of a leak that would eventually come true... A lot of us would not want to believe it because of it featuring Bubsy.
But of course when a something features characters like Skull Kid, Isaac, or Geno, it gets popular.

If a leak that featured An RH rep, Elma, and Steve was posted on 4Chan, I would want to believe it as those are characters I want. But would that fact make them more legitimate?
