how do i check out my first post without sifting through like a billion posts anyways

unless i have to sift through a billion posts

i don't like sifting through a billion posts
Guess I'm just doing people's dirty work huh?
"Hey guys, I'm new here but have been lurking for a while (2+ months... lol). So how do we feel about the Crunchii leaks?"
Actual grammar, you've changed so much.

Forgive me, but I was curious, and went and found your very first post anyway.

It's not anything bad, but out of respect for your wishes, I shan't post it.
No need to ask for forgiveness. I think I was the same “please think I’m big brain oh god please” person back then but I feel like I must have been pretty aggressive as time went on or something

Oh yeah! Here's that one time I went off in the Geno support thread when people were complaining about Erdrick being an anime human sword fighter.

And like Incineroar, people will open up to him if he is handled in a fun and endearing manner.

Personally, if you can't feel anything towards Erdrick's design, then that's alright. Designs can be pretty subjective. What hits you doesn't have to be what hits me or anyone else in this thread.

There are some lies here, though. The whole sword argument is overblown. Out of all of the 19 Smash 4 newcomers including miis, five of them predominantly use a sword, and they're all pretty unique. Robin uses magic, Shulk can buff himself and has obscene range with the closest thing we have to a lightsaber, Cloud is Cloud and that speak for himself, and Corrin can turn into a dragon and has stupid-looking acrobatics.

It's a ridiculous argument because if the weapon characters used defined what the character was, they wouldn't be characters. Let's not even count how many characters use their fists in Smash Bros because I'm sure the number is more gargantuan. If you boil it down to what weapon they're predominantly shown with, you're not really looking at what makes the character unique. This could also apply to Geno. We already have characters who fight with arm cannons, lasers, guns, and explosives. Therefore, Geno would not be unique. He would just be a wooden Megaman. That argument is superficial because Geno is unique. However, this is the same argument people are using for Erdrick. Now I hope you see my issue because of it.

I joined shortly after E3 2018, after Smash Ultimate was officially revealed.

I think my first post was on the Newcomer Stock Icons thread, originally hosted by Imadethistoseealeak, but now hosted by Pakky.

My first post was asking people what they thought about Bandana Dee's odds of being in Smash 4 all the way back in 2011.

My first post seems to be this a prediction roster(I seem to have edited it after the ESRB leaks so meh) but my second one seems to be this dumb ****
some ****ing idiot said:
My opinions:
-Pac-man is terrible idea
-I don't want Ike to come back
-I would prefer Zoroark over Mewtwo
-Why the heck would Waddle Dee be in the game?
I still stand by the third one though

You must have been so different back then.
I am glad you have improved after those sins.

you can only become a member of elma gang if you first complete this written test by filling in the blanks
  1. "sliding _______!" (1)
  2. "______ factory!" (1)
  3. "move in and keep the _______ going." (1)
  4. "_______ comes from _______, that's true on any planet." (2)
  5. "it's this ________. there's something about this ________." (2)
  6. _________ _______! ________ in and _______!" (4)
good luck, you have one hour
1. Sliding Singer!
2. Ghost Factory!
3. Move in and keep the rhythm going.
4. Strength comes from experience, that’s true on any planet.

I can’t tell about the others, I guess I’m not a true Elma fan then.

I think I'm walking away from this remake of Bowser's Inside Story positively, despite my issues with some of it. There are pros and cons to it that make it stand equal to the original IMO. I wouldn't say it's a replacement, but I also wouldn't say it's a downgrade either. If someone didn't have BiS already, I'd say go ahead. If someone already owned it, though, I'd probably say stick with the original.

The pros and cons are pretty much this for me:

Pros:
- Fantastic artwork (I'm not one of those people who hate the DT style, I actually really like it).
- Great soundtrack (I actually prefer the arranged versions of these songs to their compressed, chiptune counterparts).
- New mechanics/tweaks that add great QoL to the game.
- Rebalanced and new gear additions that create fun new gear combos.
- Forced tutorials are nearly non-existent (pretty sure that's different from the original, ha ha).
- Giant Battles are a lot more bearable with the changes made to them.
- Rebalanced boss fights are mostly great, and the addition of rage phases is really cool.

Cons:
- Framerate can be kinda bad sometimes, it isn't as stable a 30FPS as DT was. However, the only instance where I ever really noticed it was during the animation playout of very specific Bros. and Brawl Attacks, and it wasn't ever during the execution of them. It was only ever upon completing moves like Falling Star or sometimes Goomba Storm, so it thankfully never impacted actual gameplay, so this is more of a nitpick. Only part of the gameplay that got choppy were Giant Battles.
- Game probably has the slowest pacing of any M&L game, taking away a lot of the twitch-based reactions. This actually makes parts of the game harder, believe it or not, as certain attacks being slower gives you more opportunities to choke on certain counterattacks. Twitch based gameplay was always better for M&L, as it helped create an almost rhythmic gameplay to the counterattacks and Bros. Attacks, which isn't as strong here because of the slower pacing. This is probably the only major problem I have with this version, however, it thankfully wasn't enough to hamper my enjoyment of the game personally.
- No normal arena for Bowser, only new addition they added to that were slightly faster versions of the Giant Battles.
- The QoL options that SSDX had for saving and Field Actions are gone, for some reason. A very minor complaint, but a complaint nonetheless. The original didn't have these kinds of features either, so this con kind of ends up a wash in my opinion.

All in all, even with some disappointing changes to game speed, the game at its core is still the same BiS that I adored as a kid. It may not replace the original like SSDX did for SS, but it's a fine enough rendition of it. I'd probably equate this to M64 VS. M64DS: Both do things better than the other, so it's really up to you and your personal preferences when it comes to the pros and cons of each game. BiSDX has more QoL options, but original BiS has slightly more rewarding and comfortable gameplay speed. The cons weren't enough to ruin it for me, but I will say that I only went for this version because I did not own my own copy of the original. However, as I said above, if you're looking to play the game on your 3DS and you don't already own a copy, I personally believe there is more good than bad here that makes it worth considering over the original. It will probably be my go-to version of the game in the future simply for the beautiful graphics, wonderful music, fun tweaks and additions to the core gameplay, and not having to use the microphone in Giant Battles. Seriously, what was Alpha Dream thinking back in the day when they designed that?

wait what;s with these people who joined in 2018 and have 3 times as many posts as me
Grab your popcorn, kids...

I found one of the rants:

I still kinda agree with some of the arguments, though the fact I was gloating beforehand, makes it lose some points for me
ironically the part of that post that aged the worst was "I currently trust Vergeben"

Hmm... first posts huh?
I’m PsySmasher. I’ve been a long time observer of this site and finally decided to get in on the conversation myself! I’ve been a fan of the series since childhood and have burnt hundreds of hours into Brawl and Smash 4. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Smash Switch!
If we're not including the into post then it this:
Chibi Robo
Chance: 22%
I do think the Chibi Robo franchise needs more exposure. However, I think there are many more established franchises (both represented and non-represented) that have better potential and higher priority.
Want: 18%
I wouldn’t mind seeing him playable, but he’s towards the bottom of my list.
Prediction
Shovel Knight: 36%
Nominations :
Arle Nadja x 3
Tethu (Ever Oasis) x 2
My 1st post on the Ultimate Discussion thread was on how one-off Zelda and Kirby characters have lower chances of getting in outside of the main cast.

This is the first thing I ever said on this site.

How unimpressive.
Y'all talking about the first posts you made. My first one was a bop.

[Regarding Incineroar[

Looks like a really cool character.
----------------------------------------------------------------Just a penguin joins the battle!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, this is my first post on Smashboards. Wondering if a Noipoi special could occur. That would be nice."

And then I posted like 7 times in a row because I didn't know how to edit posts.

Fun fact, Chill Man was designed to stop global warming. He is a very good lad.

Speaking of which, if you wanna learn what all the Robot Masters were built for, and how useful they all are, look no further.

First posts ever on the site? I only joined due to being pissed at people dissing DQ.
Hi, I'm new. Wow this thread is getting a bit intense, anyway just my two cents. I grew up playing SMRPG, FFVII, CT, KH, and curiously it took me a while to get into DQ even if it was technically the first RPG I ever played. I would love any of the reps in the poll, but certainly my top choices would be Erdrick followed by Sephiroth and Sora. I feel that this whole disdain for Erdrick is a bit unwarranted as I dont think that having Erdrick prevents having any other SE characters down the line and frankly the overreaction of him being an anime swordsman when we don't have any idea about his moveset. I also very well doubt he is stealing any spot whatsoever.

That said, DQ is in a similar situation to MH previous to World, considering a few of the games sold a million on the west but substantially better in Japan. I feel that if Erdrick is managed well, he's going to be well received. Surprisingly one of the DQ manga is quite popular in LatAm and Europe as well.
Im quite surprised I dont sound more pissed off.

I think my first post was this one:
I would like to see a Bowser's Castle, a Luigi's Mansion and a Super Mario Sunshine(Delfino Plaza) level. Further, i would like to see King Dedede's Castle(If King 3D is added).
Link.
Nothing interesting, actually.
