I'll say that I'm welcome to most third parties.

But I'd still like Nintendo newcomers too.

I guess I'm just content with whatever they bring at this point.

That said, I have two characters that have no ingame role that are still on the "would make me scream" list.

The return of Pokemon Trainer, Ridley and Isaac were on there. 2/3 is already pretty freaking rad.

But if I got Lloyd Irving and Phoenix Wright, I'd be in heaven.

In all honesty, while there are some characters I'd prefer don't get in, I really don't care so long as each character is fun and unique. Luckily Smash has always delivered when it comes to fun characters.

Tetra, Dixie Kong, Skull Kid and Bandana Dee are the last Nintendo characters I really, personally care about. As far as them being newcomers is concerned, anyway. I'd welcome Isaac in for fans of the character and Golden Sun, which is at best a completely dormant franchise by now, and Waluigi and Cranky Kong would be really cool, too.

The only "big" third-parties that I'd be personally interested in are Spyro, Steve and Banjo-Kazooie. My familiarity with the bear and bird is limited, but I always liked learning more about their franchise. And I've really warmed up to the idea of them being playable in Smash over time.

I will always say that if another Wario series character gets in, Ashley is the best and most logical pick. Magic gives her a ton of moveset potential, she's insanely popular, and Nintendo clearly loves her given all the themes and badges on 3DS as well as being one of the only Wario characters to get a costume in Super Mario Maker.

Same..the only important Zelda characters are already represented. Like, yeah, Pig Ganon and Impa could be done and are legacy characters, but they aren't needed and wouldn't get me hype. The others are all one-offs unlikely to ever appear again outside of crossover games like Hyrule Warriors (Sheik falls into that too..but she was originally part of Zelda, so she's fine and she's a legacy character now).

Also, do you guys like horror/sci-fi stuff? Can you recommend some good shows or movies to watch on Netflix? Thanks. Figured I'd ask here, seeing as it's the most active thread. I just finished watching Z Nation, which was fantastic, and Bird Box, which I found kind of underwhelming.

I'm so glad you asked that question! Here's what would happen.

First, I would get tagged 27 times by the people here following the announcement, and I would be obligated to choose nothing but Jill avatars for the rest of eternity.

Then, as the hype built up and people actually started frequenting the goddamn Jill Support Thread, I would annoy all of you with all my ideas about how she should play and what little details go unnoticed as we get more information.

Then, in the buildup to release, I would livestream multiple Resident Evil games solely to get people interested in the series. Because if they watch it done well, maybe they'll buy the games themselves and try them out. More people should play RE.

And finally, I would drop all other mains and secondaries to become "the Jill guy" and try so ****ing hard to become a viable Jill player for the rest of Ultimate's lifespan. I would not accept being second to anyone here as a Jill main, no matter how much effort I have to put in to beat them.


Oh also it would most likely mean that the RE3make and 4th CGI movie starring Jill rumors were true, and I'd bug you all about those as well. Little bonus.

Also am I seeing arguments whether the Fighter's Pass should have Nintendo characters? With the pass there's 80 characters total, with 11 third parties total so far, I'm pretty sure a minimum of 65 Nintendo characters should be satisfactory enough, not to mention there aren't nearly as much exciting choices anymore from the Nintendo side
