I have no opinion on the complications it would take for Nintendo to get Dragon Quest in Smash, but the dude literally then says Sora has better chances in this department when it would also be an equal pain in the ass. Plus unlike Kingdom Hearts, mainline Dragon Quest games has appeared on Nintendo consoles with some games getting the orchestral versions from Sugiyama.

Also I have a lot of respect for DaybreakHorizon since he also stood for us even when he is a Sora fan. Honestly though, I would love Sora in the game as well.

While I’ve always pulled for my boy Sora ( Calane can testify I opposed him for quite a while), seeing everyone gang up on Erdrick ticked me off, and after following the facts I ended up supporting Erdrick and writing the Ultimate Square Enix Character Argument, where I stood up for him (Erdrick was actually what led to me making the piece in the first place).

According to the Spaceworld Demo, Umbreon was originally going to be Poison type.

Their site ended up glitching when I replied to a post and gave me a wall of code. I thought “this is just the code for replying” and made my post anyways.

And then I got IP banned without the ability to appeal. Thanks GameFAQs /s

seriously though, the way the games work currently is completely unique to the DS/3DS and is almost impossible to replicate on any other console, so assuming the series does come to the Switch it'll likely be quite different to how it's been so far. So if you want the "proper" EO experience, your only option is to load up that 3DS.

My 3DS stopped working, and Nintendo wont fix it cause it's old, he pricks.

But it's something people will have to deal with. He'll get paid for his work and possibly do a remix or two. They can't remove his credit because of this.

Dude's been in "good stuff" for the past decades and Nintendo already has worked with him. Him being in or not being in Smash Bros wont put a stop to his evil mastermind plans and he's an old man ready to collapse any second as far as I care. He's a necessary evil if it means Dragon Quest in Smash, and that's a net positive for the fans and people interested in the series.

E: Plus his music is pretty snazzy to begin with.

I think this has confirmed my thoughts.

I have had nine roommates in my life not counting my brother or a significant other. If we rate them on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being very easy to live with and 10 being "I want to kick them out of my house right now", here are my experiences.

4, 2, 2, 4, 8, 7, 9, 9, 9

And the 8/7/9/9 guys didn't start that way. It built up over time. By the time I left we had mice infesting our house, drunk strangers barring me out of my own back door, late night parties every school night, multiple physical fights and $4200 of my money conned out from under me resulting in my moving across the country.

My only advice is "if things are starting to go south, just leave, and make sure you have everything in writing".

Sugiyama is not John DragonQuest. He is a small part of a much, much larger series. Sure, it's unfortunate he's gonna have involvement, but that doesn't really matter when looking at the big picture of a colossal franchise getting into smash.

Take it like this:
Nintendo has released Dragon Quest 7 & 8 remakes on the 3DS.

They need Sugiyama to get the orchestral soundtracks.

Those remakes have the orchestral soundtracks in them.

Therefore, Nintendo has already worked with the man for the sake of Dragon Quest.

If they can do it once, they can do it again. The evidence is Dragon Quest 11 S having the orchestral soundtracks.

Look, I really don't give a **** about Erdrick or DQ in general and I don't really support any of it in Smash (w/ the possible exception being Slime).

But if you're gonna try to make an argument against him, at least bring up points that most people here haven't debated into the ground already and use evidence that is.. you know actual evidence.
