I partially agree with you, make no mistake.

My point is more, despite a point being aggressively made or maybe being a bit...antagonizing, what good does it do to simply make that person angrier or make them feel little? Sure, the presentation wasn’t great and was sure to bother somebody, but as I always say, “two negatives don’t make a positive in society. It makes a bigger negative”.

I also feel that, unfortunately, discourse in society cares less about the emotional reasoning for why people say certain things and we look to discredit the “what” and disregard the reasoning.

Then again, i’m like a pseudo existentialist and am likely too nice about things. It’s all I can do to stave off the encroaching existential dread.

To use a poor example, my philosophy in most situations is to "let the kid cry until he stops crying". I feel as though people don't grow and adapt if they aren't forced to; going out of your way to accommodate someone's very fixable faults only reinforces those faults in the person's mind as not being faults at all. Thus no one learns and the problem persists and more accommodating has to happen. Everyone loses.

But I'm not saying this specifically about Snake or the Minecraft situation. Just presenting my philosophy since ours differ.

I feel like my post has at least a bit of an objective critique in it. But can you blame me for being agressive when it's either "Minecraft is god and should be everywhere" or "You're satan for not liking it and wanting it's elements to stay where they belong"

Yet again, this is just another example of you thinking binary extremes as a backing for your opinion.
I think it's valid to feel the game is too limited to your liking, but I don't think it's accurate to say that because it's limited it's not worth being creative with it.

Like I said before, limitations beget creativity. With these limitations, people have made tons of incredibly impressive things and I'm not one to short them for it just because you can't freely paint.

If you had no limitations at all and can just paint however you would like, then that would be an art program and not a video game.

I would be supporting Crash Bandicoot and Eight for the DLC season, that’s for sure.
And my friend from Madrid would be upset about the lack of Pokémon newcomers, so it would have actually been a worse scenario for me.

Damn, Felix the Cat is honestly a classic, I remember that they showed the 50's or something cartoons early in the morning and I was always eager to watch. How old is the cat anyway?

Actually, the fact that Incineroar wasn't on there, was one of the main reasons why many insiders were iffy about it

For real though, as much as I'm a top tier Banjo supporter, the first game isn't THAT good.
I find it charming and I like the characters, and the locations, but some of the gameplay was a little stilted for my liking.
For instance, before Rare Replay, your note progress per world isn't saved iirc
Made getting a 100% hard. I did it on Rare Replay though.

A lot of issues that the game had though were fixed in Tooie though. Tooie is one of my favorite games.

I am just glad that Grinch wasn’t real because if it was I would have a friend sad for not getting a Pokémon newcomer for the first time in a Smash Bros game.

It may sound specific, but he was in a period where he needed anything positive happening in his life, as minor as the thing was.

It's been a while since we talked about

Merric.

Time to answer the call

Merric would be an interesting character. Robin has brought in a mage based moveset from FE and that's appreciated, but he still relies on the (Levin) sword for quite a few attacks, so Merric could easily stand out from him by focusing even more on magic and range over Robin's CQC. Additionally, there's very few characters that make use of wind attacks so something that plays into the strength of a tornado or using breezes to get proper spacing for attacks would also add some interesting flair to him.

The only issue is that IS seems to care about Archanea just as much as TCPi cares about Pokémon Z, so for Merric to make his debut he has to fight against his own company's perception to win favor with Sakurai.

If Banjo got in, I would be happy for the fans.
I sadly never played Banjo and Kazooie, considering I do not have a N64.
Bolts and Nuts is not cutting it either.

For real though, as much as I'm a top tier Banjo supporter, the first game isn't THAT good.

I was under the impression that that indicated that "selection was made by Nintendo" was an awkward translation and that he was including himself in with the label

Ah man this is so true, but that's why the Xbox version is considered the better version. They really starve you with honey combs in late game Banjo-Kazooie if you choose to avoid the dumb bee hives they introduced in like Freezeezy Peak.
