Its funny considering when it was indie, it was aimed at adults as well. Only when MS acquired it, it became targeted for kids.A "Kiddie Game"? In Smash?
Perish the thought,

Perish the thought,
It's almost the same song and dance with Incineroar. Character gets leaked and people hate said character and try to meme about him. And when the character gets in the game the hate is forgotten almost immediately while people are excited for their interesting moveset instead.Fear of Steve mostly. For many, its a character they seriously dislike of being in Smash for whatever reason and being deconfirmed aliviates them.
Its annoying mostly.
Minecraft>fortniteJust sayin some of the more complex redstone circuitry is definitely not made for kids.
Plus, it seems fortnite is taking over as the "kids' game" of the latter end of the 2010s.
I just never got the appeal of Minecraft and thought it would die off in a year or too like every overexposed trend. The fact that it didn't and people are seriously speculating about the inclusion of STEVE in smash frustrates me. It feels like we did something wrong. It's like Cory Baxter is joining the Avengers it just feels wrong.kids like it and everything kids like is bad, the smash player says as he plays a fighting game with mario and pikachu
Please... Let's not do this againI just never got the appeal of Minecraft and thought it would die off in a year or too like every overexposed trend. Pretty much my thoughts. I seriously want Banjo in over Steve, but leaks aren't ever found by us. They're given. Play it patient, y'all. E3 is only two months away.Jeez, people are so adamant on finding any damning evidence for Steve's deconfirmation. Just let the speculation and leaks happen naturally and we'll know about it when it comes.
so basicallyIt feels like we did something wrong.
that would be hype as hell thoughIt's like Cory Baxter is joining the Avengers it just feels wrong.
People having different tastes than you is not a mistake, grow up.I just never got the appeal of Minecraft and thought it would die off in a year or too like every overexposed trend. not trying to start a fight. just explaining myself. I don't give two ****s about the fact that kids play it. That's not why I don't like it. I don't like it because I don't think Minecraft is very good.Please... Let's not do this again
Let us enjoy what we enjoy
I'm pretty sure the game's audience has always primarily been kids. The South Park episode about how adults didn't know what Minecraft was and paid a third grader to teach them happened before Microsoft purchased the rights. Its funny considering when it was indie, it was aimed at adults as well. Only when MS acquired it, it became targeted for kids.
So your saying I have to worship Minecraft or else I'm doing something wrong. I'm not allowed to not like a game and not want it in Smash or else I'm doing something wrong........so basically
people like something that you hate
and that thing became INCREDIBLY popular
and those same people want that thing to be in something they like
and somehow it means we did something wrong
Okay, let me put it in more objective terms. Steve in Smash is like putting a Fidget Spinner in Smash. THAT'S why it feels wrong. It feels like we took a trend, extended it WAY past it's allotted lifetime, and now we're honoring it like it's actually amazing.People having different tastes than you is not a mistake, grow up.
So, you never got the appeal, and when it got popular you got mad.I just never got the appeal of Minecraft and thought it would die off in a year or too like every overexposed trend. I get where you are coming from. I’m not a fan either. But people are going to like what they like. If I’m being honest, I feel the same about games like PUBG and Fortnite.not trying to start a fight. just explaining myself. I don't give two ****s about the fact that kids play it. That's not why I don't like it. I don't like it because I don't think Minecraft is very good.
see this is the sort of wording that takes these posts past 'expressing an opinion' and into 'stating an opinion like it's a fact'like it's actually amazing.
STOP RESPONDING TO ME WITH ****TY REACTION PICS!!! ALL IT DOES IS MAKE ME ANGRY AND DISREGARD ANY POINT YOU WERE TRYING TO MAKE!!!So, you never got the appeal, and when it got popular you got mad.

Bro let us enjoy things
I understand. Look, I don't want to stop people from liking Minecraft. But I don't want them to take it, it's characters, or it's gameplay elements and force them into places it doesn't belong.I get where you are coming from. I’m not a fan either. But people are going to like what they like. If I’m being honest, I feel the same about games like PUBG and Fortnite.
hey man, I dont care if kids like the game, more power to them, I just personaly dont like it but as much as I dont like it, If it even get in smash in one way or another, Ill just have to suck it up and deal with it but doesnt mean Ill be happy about itkids like it and everything kids like is bad, the smash player says as he plays a fighting game with mario and pikachu
Well, that's my thought process. Don't know what to tell you.see this is the sort of wording that takes these posts past 'expressing an opinion' and into 'stating an opinion like it's a fact'
Minecraft still has millions of kids playing it monthly though.Just sayin some of the more complex redstone circuitry is definitely not made for kids.

Maybe people like trends because their content is actually quality?Okay, let me put it in more objective terms. Steve in Smash is like putting a Fidget Spinner in Smash. THAT'S why it feels wrong. It feels like we took a trend, extended it WAY past it's allotted lifetime, and now we're honoring it like it's actually amazing.
If your seriously getting upset over a reaction image, you should probably seek anger management classes... And typing in all caps isn’t going to make me validate your opinions, ya know.STOP RESPONDING TO ME WITH ****TY REACTION PICS!!! If you honestly want me to think this is an objective statement, you are insulting my intelligence.Okay, let me put it in more objective terms. Steve in Smash is like putting a Fidget Spinner in Smash. THAT'S why it feels wrong. It feels like we took a trend, extended it WAY past it's allotted lifetime, and now we're honoring it like it's actually amazing.
That’s the thing about Smash, though, isn’t it? Pretty much any game character can be made to have a place. I’m not a fan, as I said, but I’d be interested in how Sakurai and Co. would create a moveset based on his game. I can say the same about a lot of characters I am not into.STOP RESPONDING TO ME WITH ****TY REACTION PICS!!! ALL IT DOES IS MAKE ME ANGRY AND DISREGARD ANY POINT YOU WERE TRYING TO MAKE!!!

Smash Players are sweating heavily as they read this.
Wow, just checked that episode was a year before the acquisition.I'm pretty sure the game's audience has always primarily been kids. The South Park episode about how adults didn't know what Minecraft was and paid a third grader to teach them happened before Microsoft purchased the rights.
quick, describe the smell of smash tourneys in three adjectivesDear god I ****ing hope smash tournaments follow suit
Unlike a fidget spinner, Minecraft has some undeniable lasting legacy under it's belt. We're talking about a worldwide phenomenon, the second best selling game of all time (Though I'd argue it's number one, as they count all versions of Tetris as one game), and is pretty much as recognized as Mario, Sonic, and Pokemon, these days. It's is one of the biggest success stories in gaming, starting as a small indie project to one, of the biggest names in the field. It also helped the let's play genre of YouTube videos grow. And if course, the countless clones, and imitators it spawned,Okay, let me put it in more objective terms. Steve in Smash is like putting a Fidget Spinner in Smash. THAT'S why it feels wrong. I don't want to fan the flames, but I do think Papagenos' newest video sums up my thoughts on Banjo versus any other Microsoft rep particularly because developers actually spoke about how they felt about Minecraft, Master Chief, and Cuphead in Smash while Phil Spencer mentioning it gets his post deleted on the spot. It's kind of odd how Banjo just has the least evidence against him right now. And then there's Polar's source as well.i cannot into photoshop help
