I'm usually the one to shut down these conversations because I know how flamey they can get. However, this one has been very civil. Debating isn't even a really good word for it. If the conversation does make someone uncomfortable though, feel free to tell me and I'll ask the thread to change the subject.

I don't think the modmins care as long as we aren't toxic with it, which we aren't right now. in a thread with so many gay and trans people, the topic is going to come up from time to time

To be honest it’s pretty damn improbable that given the infinite expanse of the universe and all the many, possibly billions and trillions of planets that have all the same conditions found on Earth that there wouldn't be life on planets somewhere out there.

I firmly stand by my opinion that L'Arachel is one of the most under-appreciated Fire Emblem characters.

The fact that she somehow got a spirit in Smash is great.

I like L'Arachel's personality. She just needed a character arc to really make me love her like Joshua. In fact, that's my issue with all of the main characters of FE Sacred Stones.

There are too many possible planets and ways life could feasibly exist for there to be nothing. There has to be life somewhere.

And to put a religious spin on it, I doubt God would just put life on one planet and one planet only.

I think now more than ever it's important to try and step into each other's shoes and see things from other perspectives. Trying to understand why both sides in an argument think the way they do most of the time leads to less anger and an overall healthier mindset.

I believe them, I met a lot when I travel abroad. If you mean extraterrestrials, I believe there should be life out there considering there are probably planets with similar attributes to Earth. Still there's a lot to be worried about like the Fermi's Paradox and stuff like that.
