If it’s a conversation about identity, then I don’t know why someone would be in trouble for bringing up there identity. Especially if that person stated that they’re fine with LGBT people, so it does add something to the conversation. It shows that someone like that is supportive.nothing is wrong with it but we're talking about something that isn't that. in a conversation about coming to terms with being LGBT there is no reason to bring up that you're a straight white christian male. It literally adds nothing to the conversation.
