While it may seem like I was always for Minecraft, I always have considered Banjo a viable alternative. However, between the leaks and Nintendo's statement of appealing to new and existing players with Smash DLC Banjo makes a bit more sense to me.

Okay, quick question for anyone here who is familiar with the Mario & Luigi games:

How is Paper Jam? It's the only M&L game I haven't played yet and I kinda want to try it. I know a lot of the hardcore M&L fans and PM fans hated it, but was it really that bad?

It's pretty decent. The fundamental gameplay is solid and there are a number of much-needed quality of life changes (e.g. optional tutorials, fast-forwarding through cutscenes). Where the game slightly falls flat is it kind of feels like it lacks character, especially after OC-heavy games like Superstar Saga and Dream Team. The story is minimal, the enemies and bosses are all Mario enemies you've seen before, the locations are very standard and if you were hoping for more of a substantial crossover with Paper Mario, then you'll probably be disappointed: you get paper versions of the main cast and various enemies but not any of the series original characters.

I'd still ultimately recommend it, but it depends on what things you value in a Mario and Luigi game: if you're looking for that good old fashioned M&L gameplay, you'll be fine. If you're looking for bucketloads of charm and originality, best look elsewhere.

I'm feeling Heihachi who'll be revealed in August in commemoration and honor of his voice actor. Plus on top of a Mii costume. He was considered for Sm4sh.

Arguments for or against Heihachi aside, why would he be revealed in "commemoration and honor of his voice actor?"

Smash reveals barely, if ever, coincide with release dates or anniversaries or anything of the sort, so why then, would a reveal coincide with the death of a voice actor of all things?

For reference, this is a super infamous gamefaqs user who wants Sakurai fired and thinks they'd do a better job.

Well, at least it has Adeleine, Ganon and Cpt Syrup, 3 of my most wanted characters... (too bad Karate Joe is missing)
Also I agree about making Mii one single character with a moveset based on Mii games instead of them being generic fighters.

But yes, a lot of questionable choices (especially cuts).

I would love Leon Kennedy to be in Smash, especially since I played Re 2 Remake, and RE 4 when I was really young. I hope his moveset is mostly based on classic Re, with some moves from 4.

That's more along the lines of character balances, not online.

And even with some balance changes, it's not really gonna change the way people spam certain projectiles w/ certain characters.

This is the face I make when I see someone online shares my opinion.

Even without guessing specifics, I think we share similar ideas on what companies will throw their hats into the ring for the remaining season of DLC.

1. A Square Enix rep
2. A Microsoft rep
3. A Namco rep
4. A Capcom rep
5. And then maybe some other bonus character since they seem alright adding new modes to the game with 3.0.0. Probably Nintendo rep.
