I don't know why, but I've always found the very concept of fan-fiction cringey. It's just an immature mindset of mine, I can't really explain it. I write scripts with original characters all the time, and I guess it's just that part of me says "make something original". I mostly write for fun, although I've been commissioned a few times, and I just think you should write whatever you want.

Here's a thought.

All long-running media made by people who took the reigns from the original creators (Current DC and Marvel comics, all Sherlock Holmes, James Bond and LOTR productions after the novels, all the Doctor Who productions after the revival, Dragon Ball Super, Sonic Mania and others) are just professionally made fan-fiction.

Stuff made by proper creators is not inherently good, and stuff made by fans is not inherently bad.

Some writers start by writing fan-fiction to work the "creativity muscle" to build up to a point where they feel comfortable making their own stuff, there's no inherent harm or shame in doing this.

One of my earliest concepts involved Yoshi being a double agent for Bowser. It was never anything beyond a random thought I had.

Honestly I think my issue is that I've never approached anyone with any idea past a hookup. A couple times I've gone on dates AFTER such hookups, only for both of us to realize that maybe we just wanted to **** and that's it. I thought there was an exception a couple days ago but I'm pretty sure I'm being ghosted rn so eh

Maybe I'm just not ready for a straight up commited relationship yet.

I'm honestly prepared for disappointment with DLC. Its how Smash has ended every time whether Base or DLC.

And given that Nintendo is choosing they're obviously going to do promotional picks and business decisions like Steve since there's no way in hell they're gonna pass that up given how big Minecraft is and the amount of money they'd get from that.

Predictions of final four are Byleth/Edelgard, Erdrick, Geno 8 Pokemon and Steve.

Some signs are obvious, but some are more subtle and on a subconscious level. Fifty Shades of Gray is a textbook example of a toxic and abusive relationship, unfortunately the author paints it in a positive light and too many people overlook the red flags because of that. I can point out some red flags in that book series I’ve noticed if that would help.

I know that was a typo but gosh dang it I thought I almost found one person who had a little bit of hope for Geno, I guess nobody in this entire site has any hope for my boy anymore, I can't say there's no reason for it though.

Depends on the context. I honestly think trying to use "moves" or pick-up lines or anything like that on a stranger is mega creepy unless you're... like... at an event or something specifically for that.

But if you're already good friends with a person and doing that will probably make them laugh then that's a good start.
