The new Sonic design looks nice (albeit the limbs do seem sorta weird when you're used to his standard cartoon/anime/manga/game design), but I'm wondering:

1. why does it look like they got rid of his gloves but made his actual hands white?

2. why didn't they use his standard design for his shoes? (although tbh my imagination makes it seem like his original shoes might not fit this design)
