This is just something that came to mind that I wish was talked about a bit more concerning the characters we want.

What kind of little details or references/callbacks do you guys think would help bring your wanted characters to life and help feel like they came from their home games? It could be a mechanic (Stuff like f-Smash throwing a energy beam at 0% or not being able to swim) or aesthetic ( bursting into orbs when KOed or putting on his pirate hat with the Blunderbuss)

Not sure if a victory themes would be a "little" reference/callback. But it Louie get's in and his victory music isn't this, i'll be mad.
Also if Steve gets in, he should flash red when he takes knock-back.

I'm surprised a good amount of people would choose Erdrick over other Square characters and I have one question, Why?

I mean no denying that DQ deserves representation and I would be a little sad for the DQ fans who got their hopes up if DQ isn't the Square rep but I always thought Sora and Geno were the more popular choices. I really can't get hyped for Erdrick but I can admit that DQ deserves representation.

I'm asking more about why choose the Character over others, You cannot Compare Geno and Erdrick cause Erdrick would win in who has more appearances and which character is more relevant but relevancy doesn't always make you want to choose a character. Take Isaac for example his franchise is dead but people still root for him regardless of relevancy cause that Character is Interesting.

In my Opinion Erdrick isn't as interesting as Geno/Sora of course I'm not saying that to bash Erdrick or DQ I just want to understand where people are coming from.

Sorry-

When I say "read the air", I mean realizing what the current conversation atmosphere is.

For example, if everyone was in a heated debate and I decided to make a whole bunch of low brow jokes about it, I would have said something inappropriate for the conversation. Same if someone said something that was a total bummer when everyone's in an elevated mood.

I didn't mean it in a bad way. Everyone does it sometimes.

As a general rule, Platinum doesn't really own the games they work on. They almost always, if not always, make games for other companies.
