goku is drawn in an extremely different style then anyone in naruto, and vice versa

How? Goku's body type doesn't even exist in Naruto. Same with Naruto's eyes.

Also which people? If "Shulk looks like FE character" gang, they don't count.

ahah, you cant put Goku in naruto and think theybare from the same show. Just like how you cant take Yosuke out of P4A and put him in UNIST and think they are from the same game

Um...

Goku and Naruto are clearly drawn in different artstyles.

They mesh decently, but so do Dexter's Lab and the Powerpuff Girls.

From the same magazine alone (which severely limits what you have to work with), there's Death Note, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, One Piece, and Dragon Ball, where none of the characters would be easily confused for each other. I'm not sure why you're persisting with this topic; there are countless examples out there of wildly different character designs in both anime and western animation.

Why exactly are you upset w/ Cross Tag, UNIST and Fighterz all getting into EVO?

Because the games looking "similar" isn't really an argument especially since the games you provided as alternatives don't really prove your point.

I legit don't see how you can hate any of the designs of the starters pre-evolution this time. They're all super adorable. I'm just dreading who will be the one who evolves into the monstrosity this time.

It’s almost like shows made by the same overall community in the same time period in the same country will have some design similarities, but also their own unique elements due to their creators.

Also there’s a huge aspect of the characters and genre. Yeah, 90’s American cartoons can look wildly different since many are casts of weird creatures and animals in wild comedies, while many anime are more grounded in a serious settings with more detailed human characters.

Because the anime art style is a turn off and there are other games about other kinds of characters that I’d rather see be played.

all cartoons look the same. all live action shows look the same. i think i have a problem :(
