So, I'm curious, out of the Currently Represented Franchises in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, what are you most disappointed by not being represented or being underrepresented in your opinion...this is not counting Fighters, just Stages, Songs, Spirits, etc.

- The music from Fates is one of the only parts of the game I really loved, yet all we get are three mixes of the same song.
- Basically the whole Sonic soundtrack consists of vocal theme songs. The actual meat of Sonic music is relatively untouched.
- How. The ****. Is James McCloud not an alternate costume. Just give him sunglasses and smoother-sounding voice lines. Bam. Easy.
- The fact that Young Link's appearance represents his OoT self rather than his MM self. They seemed to go with different game references on every Zelda character except & .
- Got no music to represent her specifically. A Super Mario Land mix or one of her stages in Mario Kart would be great.

- Got nothing. Nothing.

EDIT: Also got no fantastic Sawano XCX music what the hell.

: Bowsette No Songs from Super Mario RPG..even if I always think of it when hearing King Bowser considering I first heard it in RPG.
: Very few DKC2 Songs despite having such as an Awesome OST..too many remixes of the same exact song..
: No Hyrule Castle or Lorule Castle Songs
: No Baby Bowser Battle (Yoshi's Island) Song
: No Music or Stages from Wario Land or Wario World (that one Shake It song doesn't count to me since its just a remix of a WarioWare song..)
: No Old Snake or Naked Snake costumes
: Not more Sonic Mania music (particularly Mirage Saloon Zone Act 2)
: No MegaMan Battle Network music, the MM Zero song is just a remix of Zero's MMX1 theme and not an original MMZ song (like Departure~)
: Any Music from a non-SFII entry..I'd have loved some SFIII and Alpha songs (like Sakura's theme)
: The Entire Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series..

I somehow forgot about that gripe..I had it in Melee as well.. Young Link is BARELY important to the whole of Ocarina of Time consider he's only got 4 dungeons while Adult Link has 7..and he's the main Link of Majora's Mask. Young Link also actually gets to use the Bow and Hookshot only in Majora's Mask and his moveset wouldn't even have to change..just have him turn into Fierce Deity Link for the Final Smash but keep it otherwise unchanged and he's good to go..

Plus I just like stuff with the main character on it when it's done well. Like the PAL SotN box art for instance.

Most all of his complaints in the video were solid ones. I'm just not a fan of minimalist always trumping having, like, anything on the box. Games that just paste renders of official art into the foreground on a seemingly unrelated background (a huge problem in 90s American boxart) are a big annoyance. But the American REmake box art remains my favorite of the series. The blasphemer actually said it was bad.

If you want bad RE box art, look at Code Veronica X.

The awful mismatching fonts aside, they just put basic, static-as-hell 3D models of the main characters in different perspectives and lighting over a vague background that isn't even animated the same or, like... at the same angle the characters are. Then for the 'X' version specifically they put a weird and unnecessary soft blue outline on each of the renders like someone was just learning how to use Photoshop for the first time. That wasn't on the Dreamcast version. They just added it.

The PAL version was simpler and had a cool reflection of a coming zombie in Claire's eyes. It's not perfect, but it doesn't suck.

That's a perfectly reasonable choice.

Me? I'll go with the American box. It's a slightly more accurate representation of what you'll get. The crayon aesthetic is still there, but it doesn't go too far with it. It tells you what your goal is effectively. Yes, the game is a little more casual than most, but there's still stakes

: A gross shortage of Metroid Prime. Sure, we have Damus and Frigate Orpheon, but we don't even have Dark Samus' theme and then I'm not even mentioning This ridiculously awesome and high tension Battle Theme, This nerve wrecking theme and the total absence of Rundas, who is easily the most popular metroid character aside from Samus and Ridley.
: This. There are many songs from all four Xenoblade games missing and not making a XCX stage or ANY reference to Torna: The Golden Country, but this one link will make the entirety of Smashbros so much better, I can't even.
: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Content. A Temporal Tower stage with The best video game song ever made to start out small and simple. The rest will come later. I'm thinking 3 stages, 50 songs, 4 characters and their own dedicated story mode.

: Having only 2 tracks from Mega Man 9 (my favorite game in the series), was very disappointing, especially assuming it has a quality soundtrack

I am also working through my CompSci degree! Though I’m having sort of a minor mental career shift , but mostly because my internship for the last year made me not want to program so much for the time being haha. I feel like I’m a better leader and manager than programmer at the moment.

But I eventually want to open up a video game development studio! So I’m not giving up on programming for a long shot, I think I’ll just be combining compsci with business- I’ll probably take night classes on business administration once I graduate in October

These are just some I'm personally disappointed with. If I knew more about stuff like FF, I would include that.
