Yeah, but visually, to us, he's 2D. It makes him unique in the final product.

Steve can absolutely work and a large portion of the greater gaming community would be into it. We can individually not want him, but trying to create an arbitrary reason he can't work is just trying in vain to convince ourselves. We already have Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt and Wii Fit Trainer. If Sakurai wants to put Steve in, he can absolutely put Steve in.

I can see it being a pretty big stage, and it having a randomized layout, kinda like Mario Maker
Just imagine it becoming night, and creepers and zombies start spawning on the stage...

If Steve gets in, I'm actually pretty curious as to how they'll handle his series' music. I've played Minecraft quite a bit, and that music is great, but it certainly doesn't fit battles in Smash. So I'm wondering what remixes might sound like, mostly because many tunes lack an obvious melody.

A Minecraft stage with dimensions similar to Palutena's Temple with a randomized layout would be literally the most dope stage ever.

As someone who's never played a Resident Evil game and as someone who doesn't have any systems that can run it, it looks a hell of a lot more exciting than KHIII. I don't care if it's a remake, the reason why people are excited about KHIII is the title.. Y'all really only cared about it cause of a ****ing title
