Oh just I forgot that most Sonic characters are technically either kids or pretty young teenagers. Kind of makes some of the conflicts in the sonic series a bit more disturbing, such as being in an all out world war.

The thing is that Game & Watch already has this frame by frame kind of movement in his games. So he's loyal to his origins.
Steve on the other hand has animations, but they're just arms and legs swinging. Unless he goes against the source material, Steve would be ugly as hell. Even uglier than he already is

Oh boy, I really don’t want to spark a Steve debate so I’ll keep it brief and civil.

-His design isn’t that appealing and is pretty boring being stale and low textured, it doesn’t really strike to me as someone exciting as people would want to pick in a roster.

-Minecraft content in Smash would be great with an AT and stage but I’m really iffy about a fighter.

-His limited animations would be kind of a tough task since 3rd Parties would need to be as faithful to their origins as possibly, Sakurai would have to give him completely fluid animations.

I completely agree with this statement on Steve.

But if he does get in, I’ll be happy for the people that legitimately wanted him.

hey at least rouge is anthropomorphized and not just a straight up bat

Like I see no problem with people being into anthropomorphic animals, when it's just a straight up animal like Eevee or something I get disturbed

Would love Banjo think he has a lot of offer but like Banjo, Spyro, and Crash when you get right down to it they are all Clever expansions but they aren't the things that have shifted the industry. Like when you can make Fallout and DQ change their game plan to compete with your fanbase's dollar you're really doing something. So in my mind as to who is more important in the eyes of Game history I'd be Steve.

Yeah, but visually, to us, he's 2D. It makes him unique in the final product.

Steve can absolutely work and a large portion of the greater gaming community would be into it. We can individually not want him, but trying to create an arbitrary reason he can't work is just trying in vain to convince ourselves. We already have Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt and Wii Fit Trainer. If Sakurai wants to put Steve in, he can absolutely put Steve in.

Also no, used a character creator thing, my friends who linked it to me have seen pics of me irl and as someone with self-esteem issues about her appearance, seeing them all say a cute pic was very accurate in terms of looks helps me out. That doesn’t make you a bad person.

While i may not feel annoyed by the art you share (i feel like it isn’t awful stuff), you have to consider that people are reacting to it in the same way that they did with my first reactions to UA3 or Piranha Plant: weird.

And in the same way that they saw how much better i could be when i didn’t talk about those first reactions without a stop, they will do the same with you when you start sharing the art on PMs or other methods.

It’s not about you, but about the art.
