Only flawless game is Bubble Bobble. There is quite literally nothing wrong with it. It is the apotheosis of game design. No developer has even come close to matching the level of competency that Bubble Bobble displayed.

I'd hazard a guess that has had a few bodyguard gigs early in her career. Possibly as well.

My brother and multiple friends worked at Gamestop when the "do you have Battletoads hur hurr" craze hit its peak, and they all just replied by saying yes, they could do an in-store order, which console would they like it for?

Killed the fun for them.

I actually really like WoL, dang it. It just works really well.
It is your opinion though.

On release I ranted about that mode here so much. The repetitiveness, the frustrating missions, the PADDING. It often comes off as lazy or just poorly designed.

And no amount of debating will ever convince me that the last world was not a despicably designed form of padding. Fight each hand, TWICE. Do a BOSS RUSH. Fight groups of EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER. And then having to go back and forth and the stupid ****ing map to balance dark and light is just slow and boring and clearly meant to drag out the single player's length so they can advertise it as being over 10-15 hours

Also locking menu music behind the completion of that mode is just unneeded

REALLY hoping this means it's coming. This game desperately needs more challenge to make the combat reach its full potential.

...It also needs a toggle ability for Attractions.

Honestly it never really bugged me. The whole "balancing the light and dark thing" didn't really feel like an issue, and fighting every fighter over again was pretty fun. Could it have been better executed? Certainly, but I still found it enjoyable. I still do agree with you, though.
