I actually have a gut feeling he's gonna be really bad off-stage and that's gonna hinder him big time, lol.

I'd be okay as long as he's not too fast but he probably will be.

I think Persona 5 boomed ever since Joker's release.
I also have been hearing slightly more criticism from not just SmashBoards.
I never played P5, so I can not tell you how I feel about it.

It's a great game but it also has a lot of issues that deserve to be called out.

I think Link vs. Joker might actually become the most fun matchup to watch when he comes out.

If Joker is as projectile heavy as I'm personally expecting him to be, it would definitely be amazing to see. Link is one of those characters where yeah, he zones, but it's really fun to watch cause the zoning is only used to create openings for really cool things rather than just cheesing.

I feel like an idiot. Every time you've said SCIV i thought you were talking about Soul Calibur IV, which I am fairly certain Simon wasn't in. Now I feel like a doof.

Can we start a petition to get a Belmont, or maybe even Alurcard, as a DLC character in Soul Caliber VI, please?

I'm in a perpetual cycle of saltiness because I want to get hype for Joker but I can't until i play his game.

Why are you holding yourself back from getting excited simply because you haven't played his game?
I mean, I haven't played Persona 5, or any Persona game for that matter, but ooooohhh man!
After seeing videos on how he could work in Smash and stuff, I'm so just so hyped for Joker!
He just seems like a character who'd fit Smash almost perfectly...

I used to play a lot of Sheik in Smash 4, but Sheik is pretty bad in Ultimate.

I like the duo. Which is something, because I didn't really think about them too much when I started playing them, because they have satisfying setups.

Anyway, maybe I might make Joker a secondary? Around B tier on my list. Or maybe I'll just expand the main list for him if I feel like I'm getting somewhere.

He's probably gonna be a lot like Sheik but with lots of moves that function like Zelda's down B with Arsene.

Sheik with a Stand? Even Persona fans can't tell how he'll play because there is just so much stuff he can do and it's not easy translating RPG characters to Smash.

TBH I usually main characters if I'm good at them, and bonus points if I like the character too. I'll still whip out whatever for funsies though, and I really really really wanna get into one of the Links. Sheik can't kill and Ganon and Zelda are too slow for me. The thing is I don't have the 3 brain cells necessary for BotW Link's bomb play, and Young Link has issues killing. I've been grinding out T.Link for a while though, he seems a bit promising. I just want to main a Zelda character ok

Persona 5 personally is just weird, not bad, just weird, writing and the fact everything is spoiled for you in the interrogation scenes

That's a good idea, but i've already decided to use the cash you waste on my silly doodles on a PS3.

I'll have to apply that logic for the next dlc character, if i'm not familiar with them.

Persona 5 has too much to list but my main problem was how weakly delivered its main theme compared to previous titles. Which is surprising, considering most people liked that about the game.

Only just now noticed some of the new information coming out regarding Pokemon Gen 1 prototypes.

It's cool to have some new information come out but I find it much more depressing to now learn that it's being held hostage. If the holder is able to rip select portions of the ROM to distribute, assuming this info is real which it most likely is (we can't 100% verify), we're looking at basically a preservation crime scene. Sadly the Helix Chamber & the VG History Association have already stated that it most likely lost for now.

Not unlike Sim City NES from the other month, where both prototypes were almost bought by the same person, I hope one day a Pokemon fan will be able to preserve, if not, outright release the ROM itself.

I don't like the term "bad writing" because it's a lazy complaint that doesn't actually address any specific issue.

What was written poorly? Was it plot construction? Bad plot holes or leaps in logic? Were character interactions not believable or relatable? Was it pacing? Was it too melodramatic? Too cheesy? Was the main character a Mary Sue? Did it stumble over its own themes? Did it end terribly? There are so many things that "bad writing" could be. And a game like, say, Mass Effect 3 can have great writing at parts and terrible writing at other parts.

just so what I’m doing and watch Persona 5 walkthroughs...though of course it helps that I wasn’t gonna buy the game (since I don’t Persona right)...but the story and characters are ****ing awesome (especially a special woman in the game)

Generally, I’m just happy that I get a new moveset to try out. Ultimately, it still comes down to playing the game. Already liking the character is just an extra for me, although I am trying to play some of the games that I’m unfamiliar with. Shame i really do not like my favourite character’s moveset though.
