I've actually been planning on doing a video analysis/essay about it, since I've noticed over the years that Twilight Princess gets a lot of hate for some reason. I remember coming across a fairly popular Zelda YouTuber one day, and the first video I watched had a sideways comment less than a minute in about how Twilight Princess has no personality. And in a high-rated YouTube comment under a Majora's Mask OST, I once saw someone say that TP was like the Christopher Nolan Batman movies in that, compared to Majora's Mask, there was no levity and it was all just dark and gritty. Because apparently they forgot about the snowboarding yetis, the monkey you fight by slashing its huge butt, talking to golden chickens, sumo wrestling, bug collecting, etc.

But I'm not too confident in my speaking abilities for videos after my most recent attempt from a couple months ago. I don't have a whole lot of experience. So I could substantiate my feelings in text here and now like I just did with Wind Waker--I've got another hour at work to kill--but I try to be self-conscious of my long posts and avoid filling people's screens with walls of text.

Feel free to talk about TP as much as you like! I myself could fill dozens of posts with reasons why I love the game.

Plus, let's not forget that it gave us the best Zelda character:



Seriously, Midna is probably one of the best, if not the best written character in Zelda. She has actual character development, intriguing lore, and a fantastic personality. I really wish the recent Zelda games would take more cues from TP's writing; it is horribly underrated.

Lucina doesn't use a spear in Smash. I don't get what's so confusing, it's just something that adds flavor to his render like Ganondorf's sword in Melee- oh wait, people made a huge deal out of it, too.

1. Which is why he should use

2. For his final smash which has no real baring on the kit itself.

3. Yeah which is why he should use it as a Neutral B it even makes sense with the changes made to the arrows being stronger and faster.

With Lucina she uses a lance (Said spear sorry) in her games as a paladin and she is an echo fighter of Marth in smash.

So imagine this in all of the concept material for Smash and the amiibo they show her with a lance but in smash she only uses it for her final smash on horseback or something. That's a little visually dishonest.

On :ultganondorf: He always has a sword or some kind of weapon in most cases in a variety of forms. Why they chose the Space World demo sword is odd, but fitting. Why he was ever a fat:ultfalcon: Litterally makes no sense.

I never found the stuff I saw of Twilight Princess that dark, tbh.

And the Metroid Prime trilogy proved that some kind of darker or more mature tone doesn't have to be bad if done right.

I never played Twilight Princess, but I see a lot of people liking it, actually. I just want to know why you like it a lot.
I like Twilight Princess's dark tone as well.

speaking of midna why does the midna spirit evolve into wolf link & midna instead of twili midna

it makes no goshdarn sense like why not just make wolf link & midna (or just wolf link) a separate spirit all together

I've always been part of the Midna gang. She was my third most wanted for Smash Bros. before the E3 presentation last year revealed her as an AT.

Only just now noticed some of the new information coming out regarding Pokemon Gen 1 prototypes.

It's cool to have some new information come out but I find it much more depressing to now learn that it's being held hostage. If the holder is able to rip select portions of the ROM to distribute, assuming this info is real which it most likely is (we can't 100% verify), we're looking at basically a preservation crime scene. Sadly the Helix Chamber & the VG History Association have already stated that it most likely lost for now.

Not unlike Sim City NES from the other month, where both prototypes were almost bought by the same person, I hope one day a Pokemon fan will be able to preserve, if not, outright release the ROM itself.

Other M may have Adam Malkovich and bad voice acting... But it is better than NEStroid.

Simon Belmont is better than Richter in regards to gameplay thanks to Super Castlevania IV and the fantastic control of the whip it had.

Richter is better than Simon in regards to design, lore, character development and attitude. He feels more unique than Simon in those regards.

Depending on what things you prefer, you probably like one over the other, or just like them the same way by picking everything in general.
