It's only an assumption on my part, but I assume he means something along the lines of getting the game rights easily. I mean, some series like Megaman, Street Fighter and Castlevania definitely make it look easy to get them when you look at how much content they have, next to Final Fantasy which hardly has anything else. We might be looking at some other franchises and say it would be easy, but it may be a different story altogether from Sakurai's and Nintendo's POV.

There is also the assumption of Sakurai being humble and underestimating just how much power and influence Smash Bros. has. Tons of people know about Smash Bros. It has a huge following not just among fans, but developers as well. A character getting into Smash Bros is treated as if they won an Oscar or Big Leagues or whatnot. And even characters without a big following in their own games reach the ears of even non-players.
That's not even counting it's influence for Platform Fighters, including Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Smash Bros, all-in-all, is a very influential franchise.
I feel like it could be related to how easy or harder it is to get specific properties, as you say in the first paragraph.

It's really not that surprising that by using cheat codes to go somewhere your not supposed to, the game doesn't know what to do and creates a garbled mess of a world map. You could the same thing in other NES games and get a similar result, so I don't see what makes this special.
I had nothing good to post.

Wind Waker is an amazing game, IMO, but for me personally, I wouldn't put it in my top 5. This is not me saying WW is a bad game (FAR from it), as I am of the mindset that no Zelda game is bad (apart from the obvious games we shall not mention that weren't made by Nintendo). Like, Zelda games are 9/10 or 10/10 type games, but when talking about each Zelda game compared to one another, there's definitely ones that shine more, and IMO Wind Waker has some serious problems:

- Combat can feel frustratingly slow sometimes when compared to something more in-depth like Twilight Princess.
- Overworld exploration gets old if you're not a fan of the sailing. This is made better in HD with the Swift Sail, but it can still feel like a chore sometimes.
- Dungeon pacing is really weird, and endgame is a bit of a chore because of the Triforce fetch quest. Again, it was made better in HD, but it's still a bit of a problem.
- There are parts of Wind Waker that honestly feel rushed.

My current top 5 for Zelda is this:

5. Breath of Wild
4. Ocarina of Time
3. Link Between Worlds
2. Twilight Princess
1. Majora's Mask

Wind Waker is, again, a marvelous game, but it is definitely one of the Zeldas I have the most conflicting feelings about. It is an easy recommendation regardless, though. The positives far, far outweigh the negatives and the high points are greater in number than the low ones.
*TP is the second best*

I feel like we'll get along just fine.

Tbf, the video you posted wasn’t bad.
It is fun to see worlds born from glitches in many games and exploring through them.
Some good examples are the Secret Worlds from Metroid II, the Minus World from Zelda 1 present in your video, the glitched maps from the GameBoy Pokémon games and a few more.

It is fun to mess around on them.

I feel like your settings are already fine the way they are at the moment. At least if you want something that isn’t too unfair.
Yeah, I'm probably gonna leave things pretty close to default for my first run. I may start playing around with different settings after a few runs somewhere down the road, but that would definitely require me to learn some speedrun strats for the crazier rulesets.

Ok, should I pick the original Twilight Princess version for Wii, or the HD remaster on Wii U?

I found more copies of the Wii version around the island than the Wii U one, so I would like to know if the Wii U version has good new content or works well enough to take it over the original.

Mostly because there are remasters who end up playing worse than the original game (the Silent Hill remasters for PS3, for example).

You all will never guess who I pranked.
To the poor soul who pranked me:

To a rap battle I challenge thee
To you, I'll destroy and excoriate,
To you, I'll surely incinerate
To you, I will straight up disintegrate
For I'm the penguin with the skills
Eating fish, squid, and krill
And I'm acting so cruel that I'll go for the kill,
yes I will
You're skating on thin ice,
for you did a thing not nice
and so you I select as a sacrifice
to a rap battle, for that will suffice
This. Unless it was someone else, in which case I feel really dumb.

Imagine playing :ultpit: & :ultdarkpit: or a mirror match on that level.
Man KI has a lot of cool characters other than :ultdarkpit:

I mean I'm glad he got changes but... ew (that's my argument, my argument is ew)

The Wii U version, to my knowledge, only has new content if you have the Wolf Link amiibo. The biggest advantage to the Wii U version is that it's based of the GCN original, which is IMO the best version of the game as it isn't awkwardly mirrored and you avoid motion controls (Wii U lets you use gyro for aiming, but that's actually really good). I'd recommend the Wii U version if you can find it.

I guess that some people would have prefered him to work like Dark Meta Knight in Star Allies (character almost identical to an existing one, but with a different, cool and nice moveset separating both).

Even then, I am fine with Dark Pit the way he actually is, since I love to play as any villain in games.

Good to know then.

I also wanted to note that you will most likely see 3 Chain Chomps in Link's Awakening. BowWow, YipYip, and an unnamed one, respectively.

I want to see those 3D renders/models.

We saw the big one in the trailer already, I think.

Opinions and all but...

Dark Pit genuinely was one of the highlights in the Uprising for me.

EDIT: Also he only got in because he could work as an echo and half of the other echoes has less changes but whatever.

Ya'know he's not even a 'bad' character.

Its just why give him a rifle he never uses?

Put 'em in smash Chain chomp is my favorite Mario enemy.

Why? It's not like he only uses it. Heck, he used Silver Bow almost as much as his staff.
I mean they present him with the rifle in a lot of stuff so it puts one under the impression that, that's his primary weapon. Kinda like Link or Bowser Jr with the clown car.

Random game: Choose a Smash Boards member that could be a FNAF animatronic, and give them a prefix that suits them. (Nightmare, Funtime, Toy, Classic, Golden, Shadow, Scrap, Molten, Phantom, Withered)

I’m bored, LOL

Let's be honest though, who actually uses Final Smashes?

But those are used in their base sets.

Does Dark Pit use his rifle/ staff outside of his final smash?
No and I don't really see a need for it.

But to be honest, I don't care about weapons as much as most Smash fans, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

If you had to hire one of the Smashers as your personal bodyguard, who would you hire and why?
