sorry render machine :GCB:roke have a dumb arg instead

not understandable smh have a bad day
Also Sonic renders are a VERY shallow well.

Now if you're doing the bat**** Comic stuff, well now we have conversation going.

Also I've found its best to just PUT WORK OUT instead of making work to tell people work is coming.

I just had a cool idea!
What if we got a Donkey Kong stage based on Sunset Shores from Returns?

To the poor soul who pranked me:

To a rap battle I challenge thee
To you, I'll destroy and excoriate,
To you, I'll surely incinerate
To you, I will straight up disintegrate
For I'm the penguin with the skills
Eating fish, squid, and krill
And I'm acting so cruel that I'll go for the kill,
yes I will
You're skating on thin ice,
for you did a thing not nice
and so you I select as a sacrifice
to a rap battle, for that will suffice

Wow I'd just shrug it off entirely but that's some dedication you got there. Honestly admirable

Oh, sorry, when you said tell it to the person who runs this place, I honestly thought you were being literal.
Oh, now I get it.
You missunderstood my post.
What I meant to say was that you should tell the one who pranked the account that you rule this place.

Because I don't think many people know, did you all know the original Legend of Zelda had a minus world? I'll also post the video.

I saw that on a spanish website.
Metroid 2 also had a thing known as the “Secret Worlds”, which functioned similar to Zelda’s Minus World.

Just got this poster and I've never been happier with a purchase since I bought a vibrating back massager two weeks back

Since someone brought up Zelda’s Minus World, I could also share a video showcasing Metroid 2’s secret worlds. They are easy to access tbh.

Currently trying to decide what rules I'm using for my Metroid Prime randomizer run that I'm currently planning for after I finish KH3.

The randomizer tools actually go pretty in-depth, allowing you to set things such as expected tricks/exploits for the randomizer to take into account when it shuffles things. I haven't tried learning any of MP's speedrun meta yet, though, so I'll probably leave some of those options alone for now.

Now the restricted settings, these are interesting:

Currently trying to decide if I want to touch these or not. Thoughts?

Man...

Is still need to play Wind Waker...

If you had to rank it among the other 3D Zeldas, where would you place it?
It probably is better than the three Zelda games I have played (BOTW, Hyrule Warriors and Phantom Hourglass).

I feel like your settings are already fine the way they are at the moment. At least if you want something that isn’t too unfair.

The original one? Kinda near the bottom honestly

The HD remake though is my third favorite one honestly. The changes to sailing help it out a LOT

Will we see Wind Waker HD on Switch?
Because I feel like it deserves to be on that system.

I probably wouldn't buy it since that would be my third time buying it lol, but I don't see how it would hurt at all.

I haven’t found any copy of the Wii U disc in the island these past months, so a Switch port could probably help a lot.

And yes, I don’t see the problem with it.

Majora's Mask > Ocarina of Time > Breath of the Wild > Wind Waker/Twilight Princess >>> Skyward Sword

I can't decide between it and Twilight Princess: both do things better than the other, both have similarities but are also very different.

man, Building houeses is therapeutic. Especially since it's playing calming Dragon Quest music in the background
When I get the full version of DQB2, I will try to make DK Island from Donkey Kong 64.
Not sure if I will finish it, but I can’t give up before trying to.

It's really not that surprising that by using cheat codes to go somewhere your not supposed to, the game doesn't know what to do and creates a garbled mess of a world map. You could the same thing in other NES games and get a similar result, so I don't see what makes this special.

I also shared a similar thing found in Metroid 2 accessible by doing simple stuff like going from left to right in the morph ball under Samus’s Gunship at the beginning.

In the case of Metroid 2, it probably has to do with a saturation of sprites present at the same time on the screen. Kinda reminiscent of the sprite flashing present in NES games like Megaman.

Wind Waker is an amazing game, IMO, but for me personally, I wouldn't put it in my top 5. This is not me saying WW is a bad game (FAR from it), as I am of the mindset that no Zelda game is bad (apart from the obvious games we shall not mention that weren't made by Nintendo). Like, Zelda games are 9/10 or 10/10 type games, but when talking about each Zelda game compared to one another, there's definitely ones that shine more, and IMO Wind Waker has some serious problems:

- Combat can feel frustratingly slow sometimes when compared to something more in-depth like Twilight Princess.
- Overworld exploration gets old if you're not a fan of the sailing. This is made better in HD with the Swift Sail, but it can still feel like a chore sometimes.
- Dungeon pacing is really weird, and endgame is a bit of a chore because of the Triforce fetch quest. Again, it was made better in HD, but it's still a bit of a problem.
- There are parts of Wind Waker that honestly feel rushed.

My current top 5 for Zelda is this:

5. Breath of Wild
4. Ocarina of Time
3. Link Between Worlds
2. Twilight Princess
1. Majora's Mask

Wind Waker is, again, a marvelous game, but it is definitely one of the Zeldas I have the most conflicting feelings about. It is an easy recommendation regardless, though. The positives far, far outweigh the negatives and the high points are greater in number than the low ones.

I wonder if anyone had brought up this part from a recent Sakurai interview? Would seem for preeeetty interesting discussion here in the threads. Especially this part: "...when I was thinking of bringing another franchise from a different company, there weren't many options."

There was a problem fetching the tweet
It's only an assumption on my part, but I assume he means something along the lines of getting the game rights easily. I mean, some series like Megaman, Street Fighter and Castlevania definitely make it look easy to get them when you look at how much content they have, next to Final Fantasy which hardly has anything else. We might be looking at some other franchises and say it would be easy, but it may be a different story altogether from Sakurai's and Nintendo's POV.

There is also the assumption of Sakurai being humble and underestimating just how much power and influence Smash Bros. has. Tons of people know about Smash Bros. It has a huge following not just among fans, but developers as well. A character getting into Smash Bros is treated as if they won an Oscar or Big Leagues or whatnot. And even characters without a big following in their own games reach the ears of even non-players.
That's not even counting it's influence for Platform Fighters, including Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Smash Bros, all-in-all, is a very influential franchise.
