I don’t even understand how everyone’s minds work on this thread.

You sure? Cause I'm pretty sure I saw some posts trying to connect the two where it doesn't belong. I don't really have stock in this race as to what you guys were talking about in terms of Catherine Full Body before, but c'mon. People shouldn't make connections where there isn't, at the least.

If we were really to remove Joker because "Persona and Catherine are from Atlus, therefore boo", you know that essentially you're gonna have to refund everybody who bought the Fighter Pass -- cause there's still not a way to purchase the packs individually yet and there've probably been at least a million people who bought it, too, so there's refunding $24.99 -- change the entire project plan and release schedule going forward, scrap the model we saw, and try to figure which character can level with Joker, and I guarantee you that'll be very hard to do.

I get that some people are displeased with how things went with Catherine, but let's just keep it to that and not let it affect stuff that's been innocent like Persona or Smash.

Literally no one said Joker should be cut because of the Catherine thing. You admitted to skimming the thread so stop acting like you know what's going on when you've shown you don't.
The reason this discussion started was because someone was afraid they'd cut Joker because of the controversy(which is completely unfounded but that's not the point here).

Now that I think about it, does anyone know if the stuff that's talked about was the stuff added in Catherine Full Body itself? Because IIRC, that game is just the same game from 8 years ago, but like, added scenarios or whatever.

I haven't seen anyone direct anything to Catherine Classic, so I just wanna make sure.

This already happened before, some kid that was mad that Toon Link came back in Smash 4 made a thread once asking if it was still possible that he could get cut even after already being confirmed to be in...

Either way yeah, I wouldn't worry about this whole thing affecting Joker's development in any way.

Nope: they don’t have fans, Sakurai hates everyone and added them to just piss us off. Because he sure likes to work with bad intentions.

Now see, that's where I'm like, "why?" Like Catherine as itself was fine as it is 8 years ago, great ****ing game, might I add. But say like for the upcoming Persona 5 R stuff, why make a re-release where it's just adding plotlines?

It confuses me how Atlus does these releases, especially when they also re-released just straight-up Catherine, but it's on PC. If it's just adding those things, I don't see the importance of those, tbh. You already have Catherine and Katherine, why add another girl?

Joker will stay, and I am against the Catherine man for being an asshole towards LGTB people.
