This is just what happens when you're interested in things that aren't too popular. Yoshi isn't very popular among the older gaming demographic, even though his games sell pretty well. Similarly, very few people were excited for Dark Samus when she was announced, and not many more are clamoring for a new Chibi-Robo game. And ain't nobody remembers my boy Dimentio.

It's tough liking things that aren't that popular, because then it's hard to share your enthusiasm with others. I was freaking out about Dark Samus last year, but very few people online were partying over that specifically. Everyone was marking out about Simon, Richter, Chrom, and K. Rool, and I and only a small handful of other people were primarily excited about Dark Samus. All my closer friends/family had no familiarity with the character, so to them I just came off as an insane person.

If it makes you feel any better, your enthusiasm for Yoshi has rubbed off on me, at least. I've never bought or played a Yoshi game before--never paid him or his games much attention--but I plan on getting Crafted World. Gonna try out the demo this weekend

That's what I'm afraid of. One of the reasons I made an account in the first place was that I felt Yoshi was slipping through the cracks and it showed with his middling popularity in Smash.

We don’t get this Edelgard gal but we get all three house prefects as a three in one character. Like Edlegard is the main with the vampire, Dimitri and Jean Claude van Damme as glorified summon assists? Or...we get Snape Avatar who can summon his students?

And the character is just called The Three Houses?



Or am I just late in coming up with this.





Either way, I want this to happen and I don’t even play FE.

But again, you have to understand the time crunch the team is under.

We're not going to have a lot more general Directs this year, E3, maybe one in the fall, and MAYBE one in November/December, that's it.


They have 10 months to push out 4 characters after Joker, and yes, I DO believe that DLC started work before the game was finished, that's not even a question.

To be fair, Bandai Namco and Nintendo had to have developed two games at the same time essentially, and on two consoles that are especially pain in the asses to develop on. With them now just working on one console, more resources to rely on than last time and a plethora of other additions that they've made to their schedules (if we're going by how Sakurai's schedule for Ultimate was much better on his health), I don't think it'll be that much of a crunch for them to get everything out by February 2020.
