And the character is just called The Three Houses?

I've been saying this since June, they're a trio with Byleth commanding them: it's just FE Pokemon Trainer. Axes, lances, and swords bows. Weapon Triangle: the character.

I swear this is like that interview "confirming" (16 quotation marks) Mario punching Yoshi. Look at it again. Yoshi is asking for exemptions, which is something every person in this country tries to find every year. Not illegal...

The development team is getting smaller and smaller with each released DLC and added content gets finished.

All the money in the world isn't going to magically make more content possible without the people developing it.

That's absolutely true but we don't know if the dev team is getting smaller, do we? I can't find a source for that. Even if that is true they could always come back later and work on more DLC or bring in new devs with the money they made.

We're not going to have a lot more general Directs this year, E3, maybe one in the fall, and MAYBE one in November/December, that's it.


They have 10 months to push out 4 characters after Joker, and yes, I DO believe that DLC started work before the game was finished, that's not even a question.

I don't really see an issue here if we get two more characters revealed in this half of 2019. It's only February, and I'm sure there's gonna be plenty of opportunities for Smash announcements.

Also, if DLC started before the game was finished, then clearly Sakurai doesn't have much to show for his work. You can't just ignore the lack of info and say, "Nah, both characters are close to being finished. Nintendo just chose to hide Joker's full moveset and the SE rep because why not." Aside from personal opinions, we have close to nothing that indicates how much work has been done on these characters, and seeing how it might not be until April before we're properly introduced to Joker, our first DLC character, I'm leaning more toward the SE rep being in early development.

But where are those characters going to be shown except for Directs or E3?


Especially if we get trailers at E3, because then this guy's argument falls apart of "The team is small, they're making one character at a time".


That's bull**** when we know that Brave is being worked on alongside Joker and both were being developed before the game came out.

Oh, you already know that EVO will be a definite date for a character reveal/announcement/update, for sure. I can't see it not happening after Nintendo broke the cycle of "not announcing anything for EVO".

Essentially, we have EVO 2019, E3 2019, and another general Direct. Counting Joker, that makes four out of the five characters that have/already had timeslots. Honestly, we could very much have another "Final Video Presentation" or separate livestream/Direct, which I feel might be the case for that 3.0.0 update. So essentially, the roadmap vaguely looks like this, at least how I see it.

• Joker - The Game Awards 2018
• ??? - Separate Livestream / Direct
• ??? - E3 2019
• ??? - EVO 2019
• ??? - Another General Direct

Why stop at Snape? There are plenty of professors who can fight for the mantle of headmaster. I think we are on the cusp of something bigger than Smash Ultimate.

Piranha Plant's already out, and Joker has a model, and a release date in less than 2 months, if Joker isn't close to being done, then something has gone horribly wrong internally. So that's 2 out of 3 of the supposed DLC characters either already in the game or very close to being in the game.


It's very obvious we're getting something in April since we've yet to see any of Joker's moves, his stage, his music, or all the blurred images of the 3.0.0 update.

Well, let me be honest. Here's the thing: no one--and I mean no one--will enjoy it if you keep spamming stuff about who you like. It's one thing to like a character a lot, but it's annoying when it becomes your gimmick to post about said character all the time.

In your case, you're already walking a thin line for obsessing over a character who many people don't really care for or consider likely to be in Smash, but trying to boost them up by bashing other characters and namedropping them in every post can get obnoxious and reflect a bad image on not only you, but also the character you're supposed to be rallying support for. It's counterproductive, frankly.
Remember, you can always like and support a character in a very civil and positive way without causing any harm, and without people having to constantly shower you with attention.
