Shrek 1 and 2 are still really good movies that hold up well (although the CGI and pop culture references are starting to show age). The series main problem is the fact it was so over-merchandized during the 2000's, along with the fact that Shrek 3 and 4 are just mediocre at best.

Except Shrek 1 and 2 (especially 2) are actually really well-made, well-written films with good unironic comedic elements. Garfield is just straight up not good.

Gen 5 was the first time I followed a Pokemon game's pre release, and I even imported the Japanese version to play it early. Needless to say, I too, adore Gen 5.

I get an anxiety attack every time I think back to Gen 5

I actually had a team of Dragonite/Salamence/Haxorus/Kingdra/Magenzone/Dugtrio. The entire gameplan as to spam Dragon Dance / Outrage until one of the dragons got beaten out by a steel-type, then trap it with Magnezone or Dugtrio and then go back to Outrage spamming again. It worked way better then it should have.

When fairy-types were finally revealed in gen 6 all I thought was "yeah, that sounds about right".
