This is the UMvC3 tournament thread where SWF members can gather and test out their Marvel skills with each other online. Tournament will be run on both PS3 and 360. Anyone can participate and enter as long as you have access to the game, console, and a properly working internet.

-Reminders and Notes-
​

Try to be courteous towards the other SWF members during a match and outside a match. We want this to be fun for everyone. Make sure to contact whomever your opponent is and find a suitable time to play your match. Taking too long will hold up the tourney and will result in the player being DQ'ed. When playing, do not download/stream anything as it creates lag and ruins the experience. If possible, get a wired connection and even try to forward your ports for a better online experience. Using an Ethernet cable can really make a difference. Players are responsible to check their buttons before entering the lobby. And of course, have fun.

-Tournament Rules-

- Matches will be played best out of 3
- All finals (losers, winners, and grand) will be a best of 5 set
- The winner is not allowed to switch their team after they have won a match
- Tourney format will be double elimination
- Players will be seeded accordingly in future tourneys based on previous tourney placings on SWF
- Attempting any game breaking glitches will not be allowed

You should probably redo sign ups since it's not exactly safe to assume that the 8 people that did sign up for the original tournament have Ultimate yet.

No current date since we don't have enough people. Basically I'm not setting a deadline until we get enough people to enter. Like Ryker said, the game's new so it might be awhile until more people get it.

Sorry for not updating the first post in awhile. I have been keeping up with this thread and I was waiting for more people to post or even buy the game before starting this tourney. I'll update it later tonight. We'll probably start the tourney a tiny bit after Christmas. The format for matches being done will be like the BB thread. Basically you have a week to get your set done with your opponent and then post the results here.
