In all seriousness: I was just irritated with the fact that somebody comes here and says one thing and they're magically a random. It's asinine. "Well, gee, I guess I can't mirror anybody's sentiment on a internet forum 'cause I'll be in a bandwagon, despite the **** being open for everybody to post in hurr hurr hurr."
No offense, Dragon, but you're not hot ****. People can come in here saying how busted Sent is 'til the cows come home. If you wanna disprove that, then go right on ahead. Start productive discussion. I'll even back you up and say that Sentinel isn't that bad. But for Christ's sake, if you're going to say that, be like some of the other posters in the thread and start spitting why it is the way it is. Or couch that **** into a creative (yet strangely informative) insult, much like Gates does.
Don't just go "lolrandom" and breeze over the topic. Facilitate conversation.

i liked that guide on beating sentinel which used those mspaint diagrams and that helium voice. pretty reductive but useful nonetheless.

Why should conversation be facilitated when they don't even come here much? What I meant more so by random is more so someone who just comes into this thread who isn't a regular like most of us(You,twist,gates,lyth,me,Serris,Minato,ODIN a few others) and just come in and say some random **** like that. I'd love to facilitate it as a discussion more so if they listed points for why they think what they think. I just hate people who come in and just say random **** about characters and I say specifically Sentinel because it's the one people talk about most. And as it is, why should I facilitate the discussion if they're not going to come back and talk/discuss it more anyways as I already mentioned?
I know I'm just as much of a random as anyone else here in terms of skill level but knowing a thing or two about fighting games helps when I've played them since I can remember and my brother being a high name pro in Melee and being hella good at pretty much any other game he decides to touch.

Point 1: I guess so, but what is the point of them even making the post in the first place then if they're not going to add anything to the very VAGUE statement they make? Seriously, if you don't have something useful to contribute then why say anything? And considering he won't ever come back. It'd be different if he came back to say things but as even YOU agree he probably won't come back, what was the point?
Point 2: I could have said it to anyone and it'd have the same effect, Mars just happens to be a good MvC2 player and I didn't know this. Doesn't change how much I do or don't know though.
Honestly, I don't have any specific problem with Mars or anyone who says Sentinel is broken because I realize they have their opinion and I have mine, but it'd just be nice if they'd say more than a vague statement and never return. That's all I'm trying to say really.
EDIT: Though I will admit one thing. And it's that if you were to say something along the lines of "If his post was pointless then why bother even responding?" and I can completely agree with that, I was definitely being a **** right back to him, but **** like that just pisses me off is all =p.

Point is just because you have SOME credentials doesn't really make you that good unless you've won money off the game. In that sense a majority of this people are randoms/free/scrubs/etc.

Because they'd do exactly what Mars does and that's walk in and just call a character broken, and as I said especially Sentinel.
You know it's true Gates and I don't give a flying **** how much you love Sentinel because you know what I mean.
On a side note about Sentinel though, been watching COTA matches lately and ****. Why couldn't they just have him not get hyper armor and bring back that zoning ****?

that statement expands to most AKSYS games in my opinion. HnK's ost's does a great job of reminiscing the original anime's soundtrack and feel too (kickass to boot!)

Sorry dude. Parents being dumb as ****. Mother's being a ***** yelling cause apparently me being in my room for more than 3 hours is considered playing even though I went outside to buy food today and drop **** off at her work. I couldn't even concentrate on what I was doing after I ko'd akuma and doom. Cause my Dad comes in yelling like a ***** saying turn it off. And threatens to smash my tv with a cane. I was really shocked at this. I expected Sentinel to be nerfed somehow, but I didn't expect it to be quite so drastic. I was expecting nerfs to his moves and their hitboxes, his damage output, his projectile priority, what he can and can't cancel, remove his double jump, etc. A health nerf was definitely in the realm of possibility but I never expected something so drastic. I would have thought that Sentinel's size meant that he needed a good amount of life since his defensive hitboxes are ridiculous. I would have thought he'd need 1000 health at least, but apparently even that is too much?
At least now nobody can complain about Sentinel being overpowered.

LOL Sentenel sucks now. Big character low health. Why not just nerf x factor?
It seems they'd rather treat the symptoms than cure the disease.
Also, I just realized that I have nobody to play against Phoenix now.

Give sent 400,000 health and make him mvc2 sent. I would be happy. But yeah, sent was like one of the only characters that could thoroughly deal with lvl 3 xf dp.
No, Sentinel and Dark Phoenix went even imo. Phoenix could do an incredible job of pressuring Sent with teleports and feathers. All Sentinel could really do was tank the hits, try to not get caught by resets, and do random X-Factored supers. Now Phoenix kills Sent in one combo. It's just plain damn ********.
