cashregister9 cashregister9 do you mind if the spirit team changes Gem Apple to Shopkeeper Magolor? It has the gem apple art that we're currently using as well as an actual character who would be able to provide an actual spirit.
Arnt their spirit that you get for combining other spirits

I did the gem apple as it fit for the inanimate object event. I guess you can change it, the battle would have to be slightly altered though maybe add a BWD or something.

EDIT: Glubbfubb brought up a good point, maybe Shopkeeper could be a summoned spirit by combining a Magolor and Gem Apple core.

it’s time to vote which moveset we will go with for Galacta Knight. We have a few choices: Otoad64 Otoad64 and Krookodilian Krookodilian . It should be noted that Otoda submitted purely a moveset while Krookodilian submitted several other content so we will just be voting based on moveset + gameplay content.

Otoad64’s Submission
Krookodilian’s Submission

Please use the above poll located at the top of the thread to vote. Voting for new boss will continue for a while longer so please get those votes in or, if you want to alter them, please do so.

Galacta Knight Misc Content

As per usual, we will be collecting miscellaneous content for Galacta Knight. We usually try to keep the submissions diverse so everyone has a chance to get stuff included. If we don’t have any submissions, the project leaders will then fill the content in. Please check the Wikia for content once a page is created. If there are more than one submission, we typically include what we felt was the best submission. Please submit for just one category.

I know we aren't supposed to submit Mario Spirits right now, but there is one extremely important spirit from the Mario franchise that we have somehow missed. It has somehow fallen under our radar, and we need to fix that. So here it is...

  • Puppet Fighter: Mario (Default)

Cuphead’s Devil and Sonic’s Death Egg Robot will join out ever-expanding list of bosses. Talking about bosses, what’s a boss without a minion?

Job #90: Submit a regular enemy Assist Trophy

We’ve included the Bokoblin, Creeper, and Eggplant Wizard but including more regular enemies wouldn’t hurt. We will be including regular enemies from both first and third party franchises.

Unlike the boss though, these submissions are restricted solely to a franchise represented by a fighter. Also, to keep things diverse, please avoid submissions from Legend of Zelda, Minecraft, and Kid Icarus. Franchises such as Bank-Kazooie, Sonic, Pac-Man, etc are fine as are most first party ones save for LoZ and KI.

Please submit just one Assist Trophy and please state the series they are from, what the assist trophy does, and why that particular enemy deserves to be include.

We will also begin gearing up for our April Smash Direct! Content submitted will be included in this Direct and will be on par to the scope that E3 had.

Affinity

This is a basic enemy from Bayonetta.

How they would work is they would walk or fly around the stage, they would eventually land and then prepare a swing from their large staff, and then it would attack, this attack is powerful. there is a sound cue to indicate when it would swing.

Here is a unique pick for an enemy assist trophy, one of the most notorious Badnicks in sonic history

Asteron (Sonic 2)
Asterons are starfish esc Badnicks originating from Sonic 2, debuting in the notorious Metropolis Zone, they cling on walls and explode in 5 directions if you go near them

The mechanics would not change much, When summoned a bunch of Asterons cover the stage and they will follow the opponents if they get near them and explode into 5 directions causing strong damage if connected, luckily the projectiles themselves are quite small so nothing to bad if they do explode

As something infamous it would be pretty funny for them to be brought back

Slime

One of the mascot characters of Dragon Quest, Slime would be a great choice for an AT role. It would hop around the stage, much like it already does on the DQ stage in Ultimate, but this time tackle and body slam other fighters. In rare occasions it'll call on other slimes and form a King Slime that attempts to move around the stage an absorb players for a brief period of time, causing damage.

I'm gonna resubmit this old submission
Assist Trophy Suggestion: Buzz Bomber from the Sonic the Hedgehog series

Buzz Bomber would be a pretty simplistic assist trophy, when spwaned, they would fly around the stage horizontally, shooting off small projectiles from their "stingers", they can also fly off the screen, if they do they fly out the other side a little bit higher.
If KO'd, they will explode and one of the animals from the Sonic series will pop out and quickly flee the stage

As for why they should be included, they are one of the most iconic enemies in the Sonic series, and their inclusion would give some love to the various robots in the series, an aspect that has been ignored even by spirits, and in the event Knuckles or Shadow are promoted the Buzz Bomber would be a suitable replacement, especially since they're not a character people want to see playable, meaning no one would be upset over their inclusion as an assist

You know I'm not gonna stop the SMT/Persona train, it's a franchise I hold dearly and I will not stop until the work is done. With that said, let's represent the enemy side of Persona-

Job 88: Black Frost

Black_Frost_(P_O.A.).png

"I'm so evil-ho!"

Seeing as how Jack Frost is already a Smash Dungeon enemy, I'd figure I'd give the honour of an assist trophy over to Black Frost. He is the result of a Jack Frost that harbours so much sinister evil within them that they grow and become the raging demon known as Black Frost! This hulk of a beast towers over most fighters easily!

Black Frost has one powerful attack and it won't be ice you'll be dealing with. His primary skill is the dangerous Mudo. In the games, Mudo is an instant-kill attack with a low percent hit rate. To translate that into Smash in an interesting way, Black Frost will walk around the stage with an incredible jump height. If it touches any opponent player, it will disappear in a puff of purple clouds but not before shouting a deep "Hee-ho!" He leaves behind with him a nasty curse.

Screen Shot 2021-04-17 at 7.31.42 PM.png

A voodoo doll similar to the one that is used for the Mudo skill tree's animation in Persona 5 will hover above the cursed player. Over time between intervals of 5 to 10 seconds, a pin will be stuck into the doll. When the fifth pin sticks, the cursed player will be instantly KO'd. Fret not fellow player, there is a way to alleviate the curse. You must simply grab another player and yes, you can even stick it pack to the player who originally summoned Black Frost making his curse a double edged sword.

If Black Frost walks around for 30 seconds without cursing anyone, he will disappear and instead curse the player who summoned him. If you release him from the Assist Trophy, you best be sure to please him with another player to curse or else you'll be on the receiving end of his catastrophee-ho.

I have a quick question here

We already have the Dragonlord as an assist and they can summon Slimes, would this effect Jomosensual Jomosensual 's submission?
Slime is a smash Dungeon enemy already so its disqualified either way.
Ah ****. Well time for plan B

Job 90:

Shy Guy:

Shy Guy charges across the stage, running into players and causing some damage and knockback. Shy Guy also has a fairly powerful attack it saves right before it disappears from the stage. If it takes enough damage at the time limit It'll grab the player closest to it, turn them away from the camera, and show them what's under it's mask. This puts the player in a temporary stunned state, being shocked as to what they just saw.

Assist Trophy
1618709168803.png

TONBERRY
(Final Fantasy)

Who's this cute little fella?
Tonberry is a reoccurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series first appeared in Final Fantasy V and has been a mainstay since. This enemy is notorious for reasons that I will explain later on, they are a small creature always seen wearing a cloak and holding a lantern as they are usually resides within caves.

What will they do as an Assist?
Following my statement previously they are known to deal a heavy amount of damage with a single strike only if they can get close to you which wouldn't be a problem given that they tend to walk very slowly, giving Black Knight a run for his money.

As an Assist Trophy he will do the same thing. Upon spawning them in he will focuses on one target and just start advancing towards them, you can however hit them until they get knocked out but it's easier said than done cause will also have a super armor that prevent them from flinching and he will immediately attack you using their signature attack,
Butcher's Knife, where they will lunges forward in which deal massive amount of damage around 80% (for stamina, around 60% of given health) with an added zoom in effect similar to Hero's critical hit or whenever Lyn strike with her blade.

They will also have a unique feature, their lantern will have a lighting property which means it will shine brighter in dark places, this can also happened everytime the Nightmare Wizard Assist Trophy spawn. When he was about to attack his eyes will shine similar to when parrying to give a warning to the player
