EDIT: also, who thinks I should MM the great Eddie when the time comes in august JUST TO SAY I DID?!?! I will most likely get 4 stocked (possibly JV 5) in the process, but it will be a life experience.

Hey, everybody, new guy here. I was wondering how you guys felt about new smashers 'round these here parts.

I'm a big fan of smash bros, especially melee, but my friends over here aren't real big on it. I've been itchin to play some people for awhile now, hopefully this is the right place for that.

Nice to meet you, Ricardo. My name is Joe and I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say we're glad to have you as part of the UIUC smash scene!

We typically have friday night smash sessions and play occasionally during the week. We check the boards pretty often, so if you're dying to play, post it on the boards and I'm sure we could get something going relatively easily.

Also, many of us will be going to Purdue this next weekend to play at one of their local tournaments--get some inter-scholarly rivalry going on

Anyway, glad to have you here and we'll be sure to keep you posted!

EDIT: the best part about your post were the words "especially melee." We're the guys to talk to when it comes to smash melee.
