In order to drive attendance, I'm looking at the possibility of paying the venue and entry to WHOBO 5 for whoever wins our Smash tournaments next month. It might be eventually overruled by Chandra, but I want to see us succeed. Also, I am 100% confirmed as of today for WT5 (Chandra will not be coming), but I will need a boot camp for both Brawl and Project M prior to the event.

I hold smashfest s pretty much whenever at my apartment daily. All I require is that I know a day in advance via text or message. And that it happens after 5 p m. Unless I a off. And while I am no Icecream, I can show you basics.

So, I'm at my house all by myself (Chandra left for her dad's house, and my mom is being operated on). I may be in Longview the rest of the week to help my mom out with recovery from her procedure. If this is so, this will not impact the plans currently in place for Friday.

sorry to let you guys know this, but WT5 is out of the cards for me, as is going anywhere other than to Marshall or Naples for the entire month. Money is extremely tight for Chandra and I both, and with Fight Club around the corner in August, our priorities are on that before everything else.

Chandra and I may be going to WHOBO, and if we go we'll have very limited seating if we take the Hyundai. The Chrysler van we have holds more people, but we are having issues with the transmission presently and I won't risk a $1000+ repair (for the fourth time) for a drive to a major tournament.

It's looking like WT5 may be back in for me, along with the Smashfest tomorrow. I will know tomorrow afternoon for absolute certain once Chandra and I are done in Longview. I may also be dragged off to Shreveport tomorrow as well to go to the casino, and I'm gonna try my hardest to limit our time there while winning monies if we do go.

Thanks, you all made my first Smash tournament that I actually participated in (and not half-assed participation either like normal with Fight Club) a really awesome one ... from all accounts, I did surprisingly well considering I don't own a Wii, a copy of the game, a SD card with proper saves, etc etc. The potential is there, now it just needs to be honed, shined, and sharpened ... then I can take everyone out. I'll be relying on you lot for a pwhile to spot areas in my game where I need to improve, and I've already received the first piece of constructive criticism from Rave. See you guys at the next Fight Club in August, and I'm gonna try pitching the WHOBO venue and entry payments to Chandra soon.
