really, olaf?
you play 5 sets as olimar and then lose with wario and you think wario should be the character that helped you advance? this list doesnt give a ***K about who you main. character you played gets the points.

and i dont really see whats wrong with ramses' rule of thumb.

still wonderin btw why orion wouldnt play mk vs zss. i guess it was probably ramin cheating his way out of the rules and orion acceptin cuz hes nice.

The example I gave implies that I won 5 sets against major scrubs whom I could've beat with any character.

Entirely hypothetical, perhaps the situation sketched would make more sense if I were to say my Wario would've beat 1 good player and subsequently lost the set after that. I'd have 5 wins in bracket against mediocre players with my Olimar, and 1 win with my Wario.

Then what? Olimar should be ranked because someone who placed decently happens to roflstomp inexperienced players with him?

No, I actually think that in this case Olimar has helped you a lot, since you won most matches with him.
Nobody can tell, if you would have won the same sets with other characters.
You probably also wont have 5 easy opponents in a row and then a strong one.

lol no actually, orion won the previous match so

if u needed olimar to win, then it counts. if it was just random char then it doesnt. depends on the player point of view imo

Some notes :
-Gluto took Falco against Leon in the GF, lost 2 games then switched to Wario and won 3-2.
-Myollnir = first effective french IC. He could've won against Leon in LF but he screwed 2, 3 CGs and that cost him the set
-hell yeah Yami #7 !

Bjay lost to Agiito, the guy that beat Deimos with Ganon @ MU 6.
There's currently a good number of fr players getting better and making the scene evolve, so it's normal you've never heard of them before.

lol yeah, but pools too.


The pools were more hyped than the bracket somehow, many upsets, many interesting & new matches + it was @night.



@Staco: Only Bracket counts right?

I used DDD once against Purple~H. Beside that, I only used Snake iirc.

(Snake, DDD & MK @Pools, mostly Snake)

Only characters, that helped you progress in bracket count for the rankings. Are you really sure @ reaper's Fox, Quik's Samus and Akuma's DDD? You should double check that plz.
