The thing most people don't know about n64....is how I stole his left hand and used it to replace mine, and he was forced to replace his bloody stump with a robotic attachment....always has to be one step ahead.

flick upwards on control stick.
I suck at short hopping out of a dash and keeping my momentum. You'll notice this if you watch any of my matches. It's weird with control stick jumping. Short hopping otherwise ain't hard though.

i think that zig-zag is the best pika player imo he plays soooo different than the rest of them and he is also fun to watch

yeah, i really like watching zig's pikachu. but he doesn't have too many videos (*cough* post more! *cough*)..and a few that are posted make my eyes work too hard to watch them...still...he's definately one of my favorite pikas =D. by the way, scissors, how're you coming on getting afro on that list? XD

Wow just played zig's pika 2 days ago and got 2 stocked, his edge guarding is siccckk. Hopefully I'll get to play him again tomorrow, too fun!

zig zag seeing your pikachu made me switch pikachu as my main you use pikachue so weird that the 1st time i saw a vid of ur pika i was like WTF ive never seen a pikachu move like that you use pikas quick-attack to ur advantage more than the other pika pros do which i liked a lot
my pika got so good that i even won 2 tournies with him using ur play style lol i love quick attacking of the stg

I wouldn't exactly say that. Anther uses quick attack more uniquely (and more escessively) than any other pika I've seen. In fact, this is what I have to say about most of the other pika 'pros' from my (sometimes limited, my apologies) experience playing and watching them.
Anther - Flashy. Too flashy. You do a lot of really cool and interesting things with quick attack, some of which I don't see coming. You surprise me. With the possibilities you present though, it seems like you miss some opportunities. Sort of along those lines, you overcomplicate things at times and miss easy kills for the sake of being fancy. It's entirely your style, and if you're having fun with it then go ahead. Just don't make things more complicated than you have to if you want to win more often.
Axe - I've seen so little of your playing, but I like what I see. Some proclaim you as the 'new pika pro', and while I'm not fully convinced of their claims, you definately have the skill and potential to be up there. Hopefully I'll get to play you sometime.
Chad - I wish you would play pika more often. I know he's a garbage character, but a while back I believed you could be the taj of pikachu and whatnot. I see such potential for pika that still hasn't been honed (because I lack the skill while I believe others lack the vision). You were on the right track though, just decided to switch to high tier more often and actually win. Still my favorite pika player, you are one of the most consistent and smart pikachus I know. And super fun to be around.
D. Disciple - The pikachu who seems to have the most to prove, or at least claims the most to want to improve. I love your attitude man, and it's fun watching you progress. Every so often you'll do something interesting that will turn my head a bit. Mix up your game, you fall into ruts and get too focused on one thing in your matches it seems. Pika has a fair amount of versatility and so many playstyles, get used to others more and adapt, I'm sure you'll go far.
Me (N64) - I wish I could show more of what pika is capable of, but unfortunately I'm bad. I make too many technical mistakes, and I fall for simple mindgames. Hopefully I can show you all some pika potential though, in creative combos and random stuff.
Pikapika - Better at pika dittos than me. Hell, probably better at the game in general than me. I expect much from you, but I dunno. You seem to choke and fall into some of the same ruts as me. Don't fall for stupid stuff I guess, and try other tactics if something's not working well.
ScissorsSir - So many surprises come from you. Of all the pikas I've watched, you and chad probably play most similarly to me. Those are the pikas I've played and/or watched enough to comment on. The rest of you should put up more vids and practice practice to be super awesome! Kidding. Have fun with the game above all else. Just thought I'd give my view because I don't think I've said a whole lot of this before. Maybe I have. Anyways,

Man, N64 sometimes goes on huge crazy rants!
I havent been going to too many tournaments recently just because of bad luck. I have to go between pennsylvania and st.louis for college, and all tournies seem to be happening just before I arrive or just after I leave these places (msop anyone?)
Nevertheless, I suppose we all have Brawl to look forward to now. Just over a month! And my pika has seen a recent amount of improvement recently with everyone back home bucking down and doing only the bare essentials to beat a low tier with top tier. Its aggravating, but it forces me to be that much better.
I wish I had more videos. Maybe I should record some. Or maybe those from pittsburgh will finally get released. Either way, we shall all be free of this game soon!

I always like when you do these N64. I'm a lil sad that you think that I lead myself to losing matches because of my style, usually its just friendlies that I'm doing all the weird stuff, and my gameplay against more evenly skilled or better players is definitely more geared towards leading something into a grab and getting them off the stage... as opposed to leading something into a quick attack combo XD... but hopefully I'll be able to show ya otherwise in about a month =P.
Just randomly I wanna say that I really love the relatively tiny and friendly pika community that we have here. Definitely would be playing Falco or IC's full time if it wasn't for you guys that helped me out when I needed it... or if the guys that taught me smash had let me know pikachu was supposedly a bad character >.>...

..yeah I was a witness as well Axe's Pikachu is rediculous. I believe he is the MOST underrated player.. Anther's Pika is godly too. I'd like to see anther and axe play each other.. But i like N64. Pika and alot of the other players too. it's cool to watch other pika users.
