Top Pika list (In alphabetical order) Check 1st Post!!

Vidjo's pika was good. He just doesn't play him anymore, like ever, to my knowledge. Maybe in the occasional low tiers, but i'm pretty sure he's given up the rat.

Azen is amazing and also retired. He's my favorite pro pika who doesn't main him, regardless of whether his is the best any more.

There are a lot of pro players with good chus. Vidjo, azen, m2k, chudat, pc, to just name those i've seen. This list just gives credit to those who devote the majority of their time to the rat. Anyone interesting in picking him up can look at this list and say "oh, n64 probably knows what he's talking about when it comes to pika" and get advice from them. Not to say the pros don't deserve credit, they just don't play pika in tournament enough for us to really get a grasp on different aspects of their pika game.

I think...Taj had a good pika too.

But I learned something from playing Azen, in that he isnt really great with pika. He's just great. And that carries over tremendously with any character. For example, while no match for Jiano or Isai or Dark, Tink's falcon won a finals set once. Does he main falcon, or play him much? Hell no. But he REALLY knew what he was doing.

But in a ditto by one of the best, he'd get owned. And all of the intuition IVE gained in years of pika play during important matches is completely unique to myself, and the few that do main chu.

First of... if you didn't notice, you started this argument. My first post in this thread was solely based on how I was shocked not see those players on the list. Then you make **** remark.

I would've much rather you said "scissors is a ****" but I said what I did because it seemed like your post initially had a "these people don't know what they're talking about" tone.

So I just followed that up while still taking what you said into account. And that's a pretty well known thing I say around nyc about the whole bus thing...you should try it sometime. I find it fun to say to people.

I have nothing against you, hell I don't even personally know you.

People come around from time to time and throw people's names around just cuz player X, Y, or Z whooped them in some friendlies. I'm just trying to make sure people actually know what they're bringing to the table before they do.

I'm starting to think he's more Mid-tier material too. Like... none of his bad matchups really stand up as horribly as they are told to in the folklore... Course it works out better that way...

I really wish I would've won that match vs LoZR, that way I would've faced you next in the brackets Chad. I think Pika vs Pika would've been fun(stressful) regardless of what you say =P.

Funny, you can smell Zig Zag's sarcasm.

Vid was great but what happened to falco at the end? He just kinda fell and died. I though he grabed the ledge. I checked the vid three times and still couldn't figure out what happened?

Viperboy spiked zig with the illusion the same time zig spiked him with uair...zig meteor canceled while viperboy teched...except viperboy accidentally air-dodged after the tech...that is my guess, it is really hard to tell though.

It looked to me as if Falco was just low enough to hit Zig but not high enough to grab the ledge.

I think all that happened was that Viper risked going for the edge and hitting me off of it, he just wasnt QUITE high enough to grab on after he hit me with it, so he just fell

Yep Zig-zag is right, he wasn't high enough to grab onto the ledge. Still a pretty nice match and that gimp on the 2nd stock was awesome.

Yay for not see my post because i r n00b. Still a nice match though. Too bad I don't know anyone good where I live. They are mostly people who just spam dash attacks as well as charge up their smash attacks hoping that I will jump into them.

Usually when TJ comes back and I get on the edge, he goes above me. So if I just stand on the platform and wait, I can just downsmash and spike him. Only problem is that he's WAY too good at teching.

haha i usually switch between pika and fox, they're both pretty equal for me, but it depends who i fight. definately Fox for Shiek, and Pika for Falcon. i used falco a little but i don't trust him enough, too much gimps.

Got to play Crashman's pika at MSOP this weekend, got to say it's pretty good. *waiting for tie breaker* *shakes fist*

N64 is the best, I've played Chad, Zig, and N64, and he was the best. Plus, he uses the control stick to jump and doesn't use the c-stick. That's gotta stand for something! <3 N64

I use the c-stick all the time, it's amazing. But yeah, never got out of the habit of up on control stick to jump. WDing with one hand ftw.
