I wasn't able to see how someone could make a moveset out of Zelda or Captain Falcon, yet they did it.
Ridley at least DOES something in the games he is in.

You say this with Bowser and Charizard already on the roster? Heck, Ridley actually has more move set potential than those two when you consider his Meta and Omega forms. Beam breath, missile launchers, giant phazon energy spheres, Ridley's got a good amount of material to draw from.
