Thanks for the edge help. I'll see if I can get the hang of it when I face another Kirby. The one character that I find hardest to beat...

Yeah for the record, Tlink's Up-B will only grab onto the ledge in the second half of the recovery animation (unlike Fox). So just fall further if you want to sweet spot it. As it is it's a huge vertical recovery so you'll be fine.Quote:

Don't use spin attack too early. It sounds to me like you're going above the edge and getting an F-smash in the face. Try to sweetspot the ledge, or zair for safer recovery.
you better notThis seems helpful
hmmmmm do you mind if I sticky this?
when they have invincibility i run around like a scared rabbit. In light of mod redirection...
What's the best way for Toon Link to make use of respawn invincibility? Likewise, how do you deal with your opponent while he or she is invincible? It's pretty obvious that if both players manage to die simultaneously, staying on the platform for as long as you can is a must, since the first person to leave has less invincibility time. Beyond that, I'm not sure what the accepted strats are.
SH Arrow, Quickdraw.Nobody got any tips for arrow spam?
ahh right cool thx for replying will do thatSH Arrow, Quickdraw.
Repeat.
Quickdraw every chance you get. After pulling a bomb, after a (I forget which aerial, but I think its bair or nair).
It's a good habit to get into, and a better habit once you learn the correct moments to -NOT- quickdraw on landing.
My arrows are all over the place when I'm TL.
Full hop > arrow > arrow > quickdraw also seems to be good, or I'm on crack and that never really happened.
SHDA is sex.Nobody got any tips for arrow spam?
Your probably thinking of a double jump.Full hop > arrow > arrow > quickdraw also seems to be good, or I'm on crack and that never really happened.
When you short hop press B immediately, and you should be able to shoot an arrow again right away when you land.ok while we're on topic, how do you SHDA anyway? like i feel stupid cus i know you short hop, shoot an arrow, and land with a quickdraw, but i cant seem to be able to do it. do you guys use b-sticking or do i just suck at timing? lol.
well normally since i do it too slow i'll short hop then immediately and repeatedly hit b as fast as i can (i still fail lol). i figure i could still do it then cus if im too slow, then repeatedly hitting b should insure that i do in fact hit it fast enough. or can i for some reason not do that and have to hit b only twice? When you short hop press B immediately, and you should be able to shoot an arrow again right away when you land.
Just keep practicing.
You could probably spam B right before you hit the floor to quick draw, it's not that hard. Just spend like 2-5 minutes in training mode =/well normally since i do it too slow i'll short hop then immediately and repeatedly hit b as fast as i can (i still fail lol). i figure i could still do it then cus if im too slow, then repeatedly hitting b should insure that i do in fact hit it fast enough. or can i for some reason not do that and have to hit b only twice?
Spamming B while trying to SHDA will cause you to charge your frist arrow.well normally since i do it too slow i'll short hop then immediately and repeatedly hit b as fast as i can (i still fail lol). i figure i could still do it then cus if im too slow, then repeatedly hitting b should insure that i do in fact hit it fast enough. or can i for some reason not do that and have to hit b only twice?
I left out my double-jump step.Your probably thinking of a double jump.
Or your just on crack.
When I die, oftentimes I'll come back and walk toward them (usually by the edge) and charge a smash facing away from them. 9 times out of 10 opponents will roll right into it, even pro players. If the opponent doesn't jump or anything during your approach, chances are they'll roll into it.In light of mod redirection...

i always ditch the battle to get the balloon lol.And just a quick question:
When playing on Smashville (excluding tournies) how many people here avoid the fight to get the balloon?
And that is one of the biggeest rewards for playing a character with projectiles. xDi always ditch the battle to get the balloon lol.
