Alright! Hot off the heels of the (generally) awesome Nintendo Fall Media Summit from last week, today Japan's premiere videogame expo began, and already there's tons of stuff to talk about. The best part so far has been seeing awesome stuff from non-Nintendo sources, like the announcement of Halo 3 Recon.
...The only bad thing is the lack of Nintendo and Sony. Technically the latter's there, but they've chosen not to give an awesome keynote speech like Microsoft already has. And Nintendo's...just not there at all (though apparently this is almost always the case). But despite that, there's still plenty of Nintendo love to go around from various 3rd party publishers, so without further ado...the list!

If anyone finds out more stuff, please make a note of it, and I'll get it up here as soon as I can. Until then: discuss.

[Updates!]
>Monster Hunter 3 has a really cool control diagram [link]. Just click on the black boxes next to each section to see the control in motion.
>This has nothing to do with TGS, and will probably make some of you angry, but I think it's adorable [link]
>Microsoft has some more details to say about Halo 3 Recon. In short, it's a standalone game, not an expansion pack, playing as an ODST rather than a Spartan's going to be a bit more "dangerous", and it's still basically the same gameplay we all know and love.
>Just thought I'd share this with you all...

>Castlevania now has a viewable teaser trailer [link]. I swear, if that's Alucard...I'll actually have to finally get around to buying my own 360. ^.^;
>Okay more Sonic Unleashed stuff. I won't say anything concrete yet, but if this gameplay video [link] is anything to go by...I might have to eat some of my more incendiary words...
>Tatsunoko vs. Capcom...is probably not being published outside of Japan, according to various Capcom execs when questioned about the title. It's not a definite, though honestly I wasn't expecting it to happen, but it still sucks regardless.
>Resident Evil 5 has a secondary control scheme called "Shooter Mode", in which you can strafe. Also the not-zombies drop ammo when you kill them. ...Is it just me, or is anybody else worried by this?
>Apparently the Flood are an enemy unit during the campaign (not multiplayer, for some reason) of Halo Wars. Those of you that know your Halo mythos should be exploding right about now...
>"PSP Plus" system allows you to link your PSP to your PS3, which will essentially let you play PSP games with a DualShock 3. It's like the GCN/GBA Link Cable crossed with the GameBoy Player...only still better.
>TGS went public today. That looks like hell.

>>>Well, that's it. TGS has officially ended. I don't think the entire event had as many awesome reveals as Ninty's Media Summit, but there were some pretty big shows, and quite a few unexpected surprises for those willing to look (at this post). So, I enjoyed it while it lasted, but this thread really doesn't serve much of a purpose anymore. As soon as the current topic of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 peters off, I'll see about closing this puppy up with dignity.
