I was talking in terms of connection speed and lag. I would be more than happy to play online brawl, but I just can't get past the lag. Whereas in Mario Kart, its almost instantaneous.

All you do in Mario Kart is drive forwards.

fighting games actually care about precision in inputs which is why they will always lag horribly compared to a racing game where the game could care less where ur going as it can internally track you and the only thing that matters in the end is who won and not precise relative positioning.
