I would say, work on all of your item game. Glide tossing isn't the only option you have and sometimes you wasted opportunities by glide tossing in random directions that didn't help you cover more than one option or make the most of a punish.

you should be punishing laggy moves with grab... i dont see the issue there.

holy crap.
thats amazing, i just watched sonic storms first vid, right be fore he gets his first kill, he down throws, and there a banana laying on the platform above him, he hits the nanner, because you heard the tripping sound, but it doesnt break the throw.
apprently, sonics down throw counts as a nother form of spindash in order for that to be possible.
...
and on the next stock, he powershields the first hit of diddys dash attack, gets hit by the second for 2% and then powershields the third hit...
weird...
SS, when you died the second time, you would have survived if you had spindashed after the fair. work on momentum canceling properly with sonic, not only does it help you recover, but it helps you recover 'quickly' which is really good against snake and diddy, because at times you can get back to the stage before they have time to set up all their traps and stage control
also, you have to hit confirm your banana trips. if you watch his diddy in the vid, many times, he would glide toss a banana at you, and wait, if it hit you, he would dash attack you for the combo, and if you shielded, he would grab you. where as you, would do it mindlessly and do whatever attack came to your mind. This was very noticable in the last stock, where you got a trip and were right next to him and opted to dash attack instead of grab or f/d smash. and than again right after when he shielded, and you down smashed anyway even tho you were clearly out of range.

That can happen to all chars, it's nothing Sonic specific.
Sometimes the trip sound comes if someone grabs Diddy and touches the banana and the banana "jumps" away, but nobody trips.
And that with the dash attack also happens sometimes, CPUs do this really often. ^^

But now? I'm just tired of it.
To show an example: It's taken you guys one YEAR, if not LONGER, to actually even attempt to post videos in the format I have been asking you to do, and you STILL don't do it.
I just recently acquired the video thread in the Wolf boards, and I've asked them openly just once to post in the format.
It took ONE SINGLE DAY for them to post in the most absolutely perfect format since Kupo's last video post in here (Kupo's also the one one who actually has successfully posted them correctly, which is a ****ing miracle in here).
It's no longer a joke when most of our members in this group can't even post right after a year of being told how to post it right, if not more.
THAT'S why I find your shenanigans to lack the comedic effect, Trent. There's a time and place for funny trolling, and now was definitely NOT one of those times.
But now? I'm just tired of it.

thx for your advice kid on that match. becaues of you i should be able to better recognize the need to abandon teh spin dash strategy quicker. tbh at the tourney i was making a concious effort to play defensively using sdvj to see how people responded, the result was overall if frustrated people and i had people counter pick me even if they won the first match, because chasing kojin around the stage is apparently gay as hell. BUT it is not always needed, and that match was one of them at many times.
as for 2fast, lrn to powershield. i know this. i just didn't do it for whatever reason. its all good, im practicing Powershield canelling and altered my controller setup to do it so im relearning my controller. can't wait to see this in action. i know gimr personally so he should be able to give me numbers on theries ive been having.

Just an FYI, I was under the impression that I was posting it in the correct format way back when, and the first time you called me out on it, I fixed it for the future posts. I did it that way just now as a joke because you were flipping out at everyone. If people don't post in the right format, just don't add it to the OP anymore.

Mmm, what happens when I don't touch the game in 2 months. I don't need any critique, just want that to be a constant reminder to myself to not stop playing this game. Game 2 didn't get recorded, but at least it wasn't a 3 stock the 2nd game.

but kinzer is getting the concepts of 'losing to a character in an unwinnable matchup' and 'losing to someone thats miles better than you as a player' i used to lose to neils pika constantly to the point where I thought pikachu hard countered sonic. but then espy talks about how he beats k prime left and right. obviously something is not right here.
So I proceeded to get better at the game. and now me and neil usually go 50-50. I never said snake hard counters sonic because I (and espy) lost to ally, I know that allys better at the game then me. you have to take into account the differences between those two lines of logic.
so of course kin isnt going to beat SKs falco, cus SKs way better than him AND playing a character that beats his (the argument is just to the extent of which falco beats him) but he has to realise that that doesnt change the matchup. he just needs to get better.

Alleh got me too...twice actually. I gave him good matches but i could never shut the deal.
Getting better is the only thing you can do in the end. how you go about that and your attitude towards it is all on you (something i really, really, really need to work on and do), no one is going to hold your hand.
