does the game even have any guaranteed 0-death spikes? I was pretty sure every character in the game could double stick DI to the stage and tech Falco's.

The best rule is that members are character locked to a single choice for all games they will ever play in the club. Unless the super majority vote allows them to pick a new locked character.

I doubt they would ban him on a Friday... OR update anything major on friday. Seems like it wouldn't be fair to people who might already be traveling to a Unity tournament.

do you really think the'd ban him immediately?

I don't think they would but I know some TOs that will do it anyway.

"oh btw bro your main is banned. Good luck have fun"

Ultimately it will be up to TO discretion, but whatever changes will happen tomorrow (and they will happen unless something dumb happens) will not be affecting any URC supportion to v1.4 tournaments that are planned for this weekend

sorry bro but you just leaked that MK will be banned by saying there will be changes that won't affect tournaments this weekend.

I know a new pause rule is coming out but that should affect tournaments this weekend

/no more MK

They also said there would be new rules that effect only a small amount of the playerbase.

Those might need to have a delay. Like, Snakes automatically lose port priority or some weird nonsense.

The announcement tomorrow will be our position on whether or not MK will be banned, as well as other rule edits that probably won't really affect many people, with also our answer to a rule change that counters the pause drama that happened between Judo Vs Logic.
other rule edits etc

Uhhh...what? I said they won't affect whether we support them or not just because they're not following the "new" ruleset. That would be ridiculous. We have plenty of changes coming to the ruleset. We will be having a statement on MK's legality. We have discussed the pause rule, coaching rule, port/first to start stage striking, and pools.

Don't try to make assumptions where you don't know what's happening.

You assumed that we weren't making any other changes to the ruleset so by process of elimination, since changes would be coming and you assumed only MKs legality and the pause rule would be in place, MK's legality would be changing, which may or may not be true.

he clearly stated two times (before the edit) that he wasn't making assumptions so you're wrong player-1
